Unless you absolutely love it and it makes your heart skip a beat, I'd definitely return it... maybe you could even find something you like a lot better! JMO

I have this necklace and have owned it for about 2 years now and I LOVE it. I know what you mean about catching yourself in mirrors. Its feminine, elegant and sparkly and unique. No, I suppose it doesn't "look" like it cost you $3000 but it is Tiffany and when we buy TIffany you are getting great quality but you are also paying for the name. In my opinion, that is NO different than the prices we pay for Chanel and other very expensive handbags. They are not WORTH the amount we pay in technicality, but they are a name brand and in our culture today we pay for that sometimes and are kidding ourselves if we believe otherwise IMO.
Enjoy your necklace. I think you will be very pleased you kept it:) I get tons of compliments on mine and most important...I know it's Tiffany's even if some people dont.
