I love the damier 25 speedy.

Be careful with the perle bedford because that is something that gets dirty, I believe, and really cannot be fixed.i went to buy it around Xmas time and my SA told me to forget it. He said anything that rubs up against it sticks, like for example, your jeans. The blue dye will rub onto the perle :amazed:

:amazed: i didn't know that. anyway, the bag arrives tomorrow. if i don't like it or am afraid of dirtying it, i'll exchange it for the Damier Speedy. but thanks for the tip :rochard:!

My girlfriend has the perle reade pm and wallet for 4 months now and drags them everywhere, inside, outside, bars....no problem with it getting dirty. I wouldn't worry, the perle is soooo sparky in the sun, you may love it!

You have a conflict. On the one hand you like this this particular bag. Its perhaps more prestigious then an alternate pratical bag. On the other hand, if you had a pratical bag is that what you really want? This is a a larger issue for women, do you value the exterior vs interior in terms of happiness relationships? You have to decide what you can afford and what you can deal with if something does wrong. If you are going to have a nervous breakdown if the bag gets dirty, then return it. If you can deal with it and just have a drink and have a good time, keep it. It will get dirty so you decide. Either way ,enjoy your bag, and by all means use it, throw it around, put it on the floor of a restaurant or bar and have fun....
