Should I exchange it?

I bought a Suhali L'Epanoui GM about a month ago in Manhattan. As we all know, LV has a 30-day exchange policy. My best friend is going to Manhattan on Tuesday 6/13 -- which is just 4 days until the 30-day policy is over -- and I'm thinking of asking her to exchange the bag for me for other items. I'm thinking of the Damier Papillon 30, Damier Speedy 25 (if they still have it), Batignolles Horizontal, and the Vernis Bedford.

I absolutely love this bag :love:, but I haven't used it yet, and to be perfectly honest, I don't know if/when I ever will. It's such a beautiful bag, and because it's so expensive, I'm deathly afraid I'll dirty or ruin it somehow :wondering.

So what do you think, ladies (and gentlemen, if any)? Should I keep it and eventually use it? Or exchange it for 3 or 4 new bags? I really do love this bag, and it would break my heart to let it go :cry:, but like I said before, I really don't know if/when I'll use it.

I love this bag!
But I understand your fear using it, esp. because of the color. Could you imagine exchanging it for a darker color?
To me, it makes no sense to keep it if you don't use it.

It's A LOT of money for a bag that you won't use often. I'd say exchange it and get things you will use. You can always get it later IF you really miss it.

you spend a fortune on bags. how often do/will you use the really expensive ones? like your new Le Fabuleux, the Franges bags, or even your Eye Love bags? aren't you afraid of ruining/dirtying them?

and it's funny too; after the L'Epanoui, the Chloe Paddington is my second most expensive bag, and even though it's the ivory one, i still use it quite a lot. i don't know why i'm so iffy about my L'Epanoui.

i'd pick the suhali over any of those other bags you mentioned any day. the suhali is gorgeous! you can always buy the speedy or the batignolles, they are not that expensive. plus everybody has those.

I've already used my Le Fab today and the fringe speedy twice since I got it. Eye bags I use in the summer a lot. I try and use them as soon as I buy them otherwise I forget about them!!!:laugh: I used to be afraid to use my LVs (my first LV, Ellipse PM, sat in my closet for five months until I had enough courage to take it out!:shocked:) but not any more. What's the point of having them if you can't enjoy them!!!:D

If you love it, then keep it. But if you don't really love it, then I say exchange it for other things that you WILL love!! Personally, though, that bag is awesome!!!!!!!! I'd keep it and wear it often even if it's white!!!

the problem is, i :love::love::love::love::love: (1000 times over) it, but i'm afraid to use it. that's why i'm finding it extremely hard to let the bag go. yes, it is awesome, and i know that eventually i'll use it. then again, i'm also afraid that if i return it, one day i'll finally decide i want it back, the price will be sky-high. it's already expensive enough, plus the price is going up tomorrow :cry:.

I love the white L'Epanoui you have there. But if you are too afraid to ever use it, I'd exchange it with something that you can enjoy everyday. I'm not much of a collector myself and I actually put my purses to use. When sometime in the future you find yourself liking it (and not afraid to use it), buy it again. :) good luck!!
