I’ve been trying for a year at SCP !! It’s absolutely heartbreaking and annoying that every time I go in there , they have ZERO bags to offer to anyone . I’m trying to stay positive and pray that I get a phone call . They are opening up a new location across the way ( the old Tiffany & Co. ) so I’m praying and hoping they get a lot of inventory for the opening . I even added a Kelly to my wishlist in hopes that I’d get offered one of the bags I’ve been wishing for . It’s very disheartening to watch videos and read posts of people being offered bags all over the world , including the US , and I can’t get my hands on anything Any advice to help me not slip into the Hermes Depression would be very helpful !

SCP is a very competitive store. Sorry to hear that you have been trying for a year. If you don’t mind me asking, what have you purchased there and what kind of bags are you looking for?

I used to watch those unboxing YouTube videos… it’s possible that those people just make it seem so easy to get an offer with very low or almost zero spending (maybe 1 out of 10 is really that lucky!) and want you to watch their videos so they can make money off viewership and fund their next purchase

My best advise would be fly over to Paris and just walk in. I was offered 7 bags there. No B od K, though. As for the SCP store they had one single Evelyne but 40, in yellow and it had sign of wear. Shocking.

I was told to not to fly to Paris to try and purchase . I would solely be doing so just in hopes to get offered a B or K . I’ve been to 4 states in the US and 3 different countries in the last year looking for a B or K . Haven’t had luck at any of the stores I’ve been to . I have seen multiple Evelyn’s at SCP , along with a Constance or two , but those are not what I want to add to my collection at this point . I’m just so tired of playing the game and don’t want to purchase second hand because they are always in bad shape and asking astronomical amounts over retail .

Have you purchased from all those locations? If you’re making no purchases but just asking for a bag, your chances of getting one are basically zero (and most stores don’t give bags on the first visit even if you spend a fortune, they want repeat dependable business even if its smaller amounts.) And unfortunately if you have been spending all over the country, that will also greatly negatively impact your chance at bag offers as again, each store wants to see you as strictly their client who they can depend on to be loyal to them. Recommend picking one store which is most convenient for you and shopping solely with them for an extended period of time in order to be successful at the bag hunt.

I didn’t realize SCP was such a competitive store to try and purchase. The year long wait to even hear of anything coming in is getting me very down . SCP is the closest store to me being a 20 min drive away . I would’ve started my journey at BH if I had known how competitive SCP was . Ive heard that BH gets way more in terms of inventory. I’m really putting as many good vibes out there that the new store will have more in terms of inventory when they open , but I’m such a small fish in a large pond And fear that every one who have been waiting or have larger purchase history will be offered one before me .
The unboxing videos drive me crazy but I can’t stop and it’s always like “ I scored 2 quota bags when I walked into my local store “ or stating how low inventory is but they were able to purchase 2 Birkins in 6 months in super popular configurations .
I don’t have a huge or long purchase history but that’s only because I don’t need or want a bunch of useless garbage from them in order to get offered a bag . I don’t need any china or fine jewelry. I’d rather not . The game is absolutely endless and with “inventory being so low” why the heck would I buy a bunch of stuff I don’t want or will not use. I very much so WANT to be a loyal client and shop for more items , if someone would just give me a chance and start me off in the right direction and offer me a bag . I’d come back and spend way more to honor their help .

Like I’ve stated above , I’ve been to 3 countries and 4 states looking for these two bags . Also along that path looking for a Rolex . Those are non existent as well . I’m finally at a point where I can treat myself to these beautiful monetary things and the chase is wearing me down to where I feel like none of them are worth it .

I have made purchases at the one store I’ve been going to that’s closest to me . How is that not playing the game ? Just because I said I wouldn’t waste my money on sneakers or china doesn’t mean I haven’t purchased anything from my SA or Store . I am a loyal client of many stores and only want to be treated with the respect that I give others. I have simply asked for any help or advice on how to secure my dream bag. I’m sorry that I may not be “like you” , but everyone is different in their wants and wishes . Maybe you have a B or K . I don’t and I’m only trying to start by getting offered something I’ll use . Oh ok, when you said you were “solely looking for a bag” I interpreted that to mean you weren’t purchasing anything else from the brand at all. My mistake. Well then all you can do is keep shopping for the other things from the brand that you do love and be patient. Stock on bags has genuinely been low everywhere for the past several months so it’s fair to expect some catch up to be necessary once stock does start to arrive and yes, the highest spenders will likely be served first. (And honestly all stores are competitive. Bags are allotted to stores based on how much that store sells of other stuff, so if a store gets more bags, it’s because they have more higher spenders. It all equals out to the same thing.) Also, try not to believe what you see on social media. I’d guess most of it is smoke and mirrors. Good luck!

I only like to buy what I love and maybe those things don’t hit their “quota” of being offered something but my money is just as good as the next persons . I’d be willing to spend above and beyond AFTER my B or K offer and acquirement . I understand that a global pandemic as made the supply chain that was already non existent even more so . It’s just hard to want something so badly and it not happen for you , but for others it seems so easy . I appreciate your input very much . Trust me . I hear you. It’s hard to wait and have no clarity of expectations. I just want to say that we see these sentiments often when someone isn’t getting bag offers; I truly love the brand, I only buy what I love, my money is as good as theirs, etc but that’s true for all of us. We all love and appreciate the brand or else we wouldn’t shop there. It could even be argued that a lower spender actually doesn’t love the brand as much as a higher spender, especially from the point of view of the company. If there are other things that you want to purchase, I’d encourage you to do so to help speed up your wait. For reasonable expectation setting, a bag offer is likely waiting on at least 1-2:1 non-leather prespend these days.

I waited over a year and some to get my 1st quota offer. It takes time…. As long as your SA is willing to help you obtain one you will get one eventually.

Not sure when I will receive a quota bag this year from the store, but I got C18 last year in April (offered me on the spot). I was also offered C24 before getting my C18. My SA told me that they didn't have bags starting last September due to delayed shipment. I also still have some items that are still pending from September until today. The stock has been really disappointing. Oh, my SA also told me that Constance will be a quota bag starting this year.
