My gosh this is terrible customer service by changing up the policy like that. It’s not like we aren’t paying premium prices for their products already. I really don’t like the new direction they’re going in where they nickel and dime everything and even skimp out on the packaging under the pretense of being more eco friendly. It’s really very disappointing and has made me lose my passion for the brand..
Yea, I felt the same way, they are getting cheap on travel pouch, cleaning cloth, even with my new purchase, they simply said we are currently low on everything, no travel pouch, no cleaning cloth. I feel like maybe it's time to look for other brands.

I feel you. I’m sorry about your disappointing experience but I hope they’re able to tighten your earrings properly so the screw doesn’t fall out!

Just want to share my recent experience, see if this is what you have experienced too.

recently one of my frivole earring post got loose from the screw, so i asked my SA, can you please solder it so it won't get loose again? Her response: yes, we can, but we are charging $180 to do it. I said: but they are purchased within a year, I thought it's free of charge within a year. she said: new policy, doesn't matter if it's within a year of purchasing, we will charge $180 for soldering now.
I was disappointed, only asked to tighten it, not soldering, as I didn't really want to pay $180 to do it.
Same experience too with me. I am based in Southeast Asia. Even for my new pair of earrings, soldering is chargeable. My SA suggested this because the 1st alteration (when I brought to different VCA store) was not satisfying and hence I had to go back to her for another round of alteration. They only waived the post adjustment/lengthening within 1 year of purchase (which occured twice on my Frivole). In the end, no soldering on my Frivole, and to my other VCA earrings.

I wasn’t happy too initially but i just caution myself to keep checking on the posts whenever i am planning to wear my VCA earrings. Anyway, according to my SA soldering request is very rare to be requested in our country, unlike in the US like what I read from the other members in this forum.

+1. Especially after the whole diamond fiasco. I started shopping with vca cause I love the pieces and the service was amazing. But it is now painful shopping where I live (and seems to be elsewhere too). My wish list is other brands now.

Got this pair of mini Frivole earrings gold version 3 years ago and am still loving it. It's very versatile and not over the top. I even wore them for camping. They give you just enough sparkle. For work, dates, travel trips, casual outings, they work in different situations with casual and formal outfits. I just can't say enough.

Now I am thinking about adding the perlee couleurs earrings.

Just adding a picture of Perlee turquoise earrings in hopes of getting more pictures added to this thread! (Backs weren't on tight so it's drooping a little.)

May I know whether you use larger backing to stop the drooping?

I tried this on today and they are drooping a little.

Which backing is secure for this pair?
There are so many types of large backing to choose from and I have no idea which one to choose.

Well, when I sent them back because I had so much trouble with the LaPousette system with small backs, they sent them back with large regular push backs which was better. But they didn't change out the short, sharp-ended posts and that still makes it hard for me to get them on. But the larger regular backs definitely help since you can tighten them to not droop!
