hi...mind my asking....what color is the lakis that you spoted? is it all leather or half leather half canvas? Thanks. Also, mind sharing the retail price of that lakis? Thanks much.

Hi,

I apologize, but I don't remember the exact details, just that it was a 35, and it was a dark blue. I believe it was leather with canvas, but not sure. The price was $8000 or a little under, if I remember correctly. Hope that helps :smile1:

I stay away from the stores and keep my handbags on display so I remind myself constantly that I don't need anything else in my collection. If I see something I want, I ask myself do I really need it and wait two days to see if I am really wanting it or is it impulse buying. Also I payoff other purchases first before making a new purchase.

Dira- this is so smart- to display the bags, and to wait 2 days before purchasing. I extended my ban for another 6 months, as my first was not as successful as I had hoped, lol. I am hoping to downsize my bag and shoes and clothes in that time, so that when I do buy something new I will enjoy it more:D

I was going every two weeks last year so my New Years resolution is once a month and only buy if it’s on my list. And to keep my list from getting too long, I am staying away from silks and shoes this year and focusing on jewelry. And if my Barenia dreams don’t come true this year, that will be even better for my wallet.

However, I’ve already gone twice this month....but I’m not counting the second time because I only exchanged a planner refill that was the wrong size.

It also helps that my home store is an hr away.

I have a fairly extensive collection of Hermes.
Something has to bowl me over in order for me to purchase it.

I also spent a remarkable amount of $ on jewelry and handbags in the past year. I made a deal with myself that if I bought a really fabulous ruby and diamond ring, I would lay off major purchases for at least 6 months. 1.5 months in, so far, so good.

I try and focus on using the things that I have. If I feel that I’m not using the things I currently own enough, then I try to use them more, instead of buying new things. As you all have previously said, if I don’t go into the store too often, then I naturally end up buying less (at least have fewer unplanned purchases).

I question whether trying to stay off tpf will work for anyone here. :panic:
Actually, I think tpf should be renamed “The House of Enabling....Get Your Fix Here!”
Ditto! It is the house of enabling. Just when I think I’m satisfied, then I see all the beauty here with member’s collections. And now I want a black box Birkin and all
Of this seasons silks!!!!!
