I'm really interested in seeing statement pieces that you all wear professionally. The items posted here so far are beautiful, but I'm not sure I can pull them off at work (conservative financial services). I always want to find something to punch things up
Here's one ring that gets a lot of talk. It's pretty much okay for anywhere wear. It's a 22ct prasiolite in a diamond pave mount, 18kt white gold. I have the matching necklace and it's a stunner. Can't get pics of that till tomorrow, though, it's in the safe at my store. The necklace is way too formal looking for everyday wear, though.
This ring is really gets a lot of compliments, too. It's 18kt white and yellow gold, matte finished. One black diamond and one white diamond. The artist was inspired by a Picasso piece though I forget which one.
I have yet another ring to share. I snapped pics of about 30 of my rings tonight but I didn't get to all of them nor did I even touch on earrings/necklaces/etc/etc yet.
This is an estate piece I picked up this summer. It's an approx 24ct rubellite with about .40ctw in small rbc diamonds. 18kt yellow gold. I love, love the color.
Definately not for the faint of heart and not appropriate for professional attire! This is a sterling silver rings with god knows what lab stones. A vendor had it in his case a few months ago and i had to have it simply for the "what the hell is that?" factor. I've worn it once. I mainly just like to show it to friends lol
Here's a "statement" piece I got for Christmas! My husband bought me the Swarovski Desert Glow Helios ring that I had liked in the store. It's neat because if you look closely, the facets on the front form a star shape.
