Yes, it is exactly the same dilemma in reverse, so your experience helped me to frame my decision making process. The strange thing is that white metals work well for me from other brands, I think VCA white gold is a slightly different tone, similarly to how their PG is slightly different than Cartier PG, for example.
I will be interested to hear your impressions when you try on some of these combos together.
It is interesting how several of us have very similar coloring, but different metals just work somewhat better. I suppose I am lucky that VCA WG does not look as good on me, because so many tempting pave options are only available in WG.

I actually love the WG on you! It is a great contrast and pops on you. I think WG oynx or WG GMOP will look great on you.
I have seen a WG GMOP motif in real life. I saw it as part of the Magic 16 motif WG MOP, Chalcedony, GMOP combination.
I love the iridescence of the GMOP, and it is more silvery. I also saw a RG GMOP, and the GMOP looked more pinky to me.
I think part of the reason is how VCA selects the MOP to match the metal. For example with YG MOP, VCA selects MOPs that have a pink overtone, but for WG MOP, VCA selects MOPs that have a silver overtone.
I think you would look amazing in either.
UPDATE: This... this is what I saw as the WG GMOP motif... more silvery. It was really pretty.

I’m still kicking myself that I missed out on the Sweet YG pave pieces because they were all sold out when I inquired about them during my trip in Japan just months later. I unfortunately do not purchase from resellers (just a personal choice) so I won’t be able to get one unless I do an SO or if they remake it in the future (I have my fingers crossed really hard for this remake).
That is kind of you to say, but I suppose we each have an idea of what looks best on us and I’m not going to force it. If I find a white gold piece that makes me feel beautiful, all the better. I agree with you that bracelets and rings are more for our eyes to enjoy when gazing at them, so I am more open to metal options there.
Yes, I agree that VCA selects stones to suit the metal setting, the shade difference can be seen in mop, gmop and turquoise off the top of my head.
Very true that VCA does make GMOP in WG outside of SO, I think the most commonly seen is the magic bracelet, and though my SA has one she is located across the country so photos will need to do for now.
