Love this thread! I’m also keeping them under 10. So far my collections are:

1. Balenciaga city reguler edge in rose des sables GHW
2. Goyard st. Louis PM in black
3. Hermes picotin 18 in etoupe PHW
4. Lady dior small in navy blue GHW
5. LV alma bb epi in anthracite SHW
6. Chanel mini rectangle caviar in black GHW
7. Chanel WOC caviar in navy blue GHW
8. Celine nano luggage smooth leather in black GHW.

I think I need one shoulder bag for day to night, like chanel boy in old medium or chanel classic flap in medium then I’ll be at purse peace ( I think, lol )

You have an amazing collection ❤️ Am reducing my collection to 15 bags lol .. but it is hard to let bags go

Chanel mini can definitely go from day to night, but I’m particularly looking for shoulder bag since almost all my bags are crossbody and top handle.
As for picotin, i love it! It fits so much and very easy ‘grab and go’ bag, it is designed for hand carry, but you can definitely attach a bag strap and use it with strap

Hi thank you for the mindful thread. A newbie here and would love to find some inspo as well. I’ve been living a minimalist lifestyle the past few years and planning on to keep under 10.

It seems designer backpacks are not usually on the list. I wonder why.

I currently have 17 bags, which includes 2 Monstouris vintage backpacks in MM/GM sizes. Many of my vintage LV bags are really cheap <$500, so it’s hard that it counts as 1 bag compared to the price of a Chanel. Hmmmm.

Love this thread! It's a good reminder to slow down purchases and enjoy what I have. Here are bags in my collection:

- LV boulogne in natural tan
- YSL toy puffer in beige
- YSL small envelope in black
- Gucci super mini marmont in white
- Chanel small business affinity in light blue
- Polene un backpack in taupe
- LV navona DE

SLGs:
- LV pochette accessoires in lilac epi
- LV cles in damier graphite

I'm trying to get my hand on LV heart on chain in red empreinte or a LV saint germain bb also in red empreinte. I'm also on the fence of a Chanel medium boy. I love the look of the bag but I'm not sure I'd enjoy carrying/taking care of it (the bag being heavy and prone to corner wears).


Edit: After typing this out, I think I might not add a Chanel Boy in my collection. It's the price increases pushing me into wanting one. Another reason is that the thought of owning the cute little heart bag excited me way more than the boy haha

I only have 3 LV bags in my possession atm. Years ago, before my daughter was born, I had about 20 LV bags, including the 45 keepall for traveling, a Nice beauty case, 5 Chanel bags which I regret selling, 2 Gucci bags, and 1 Fendi. But I decided once my daughter was born that I didn't need all of these luxury bags, so I sold them all except my LV Noe. That's the only one I kept. Now I have these three:

1. Monogram large Noe
2. Classic Speedy 40 monogram
3. Monogram Alma BB

I'm thinking of adding a classic Speedy 35, just to go a little smaller than my 40, and would love to one day get a classic Chanel flap, but that'll be at least a year or so down the road. Right now, I just can't justify spending that much on a bag.

I really have no desire to get more than that, because for me and my lifestyle, that's all I need. I don't need 10+ bags in my collection. I wouldn't have the need to switch them all out.
