Love this! So interesting seeing everyone's choices! I've been doing the same with my bags! I've just been doing some thinking and for my lifestyle, its too much. I was living beyond my means. I'm finally ready to free my life of clutter, stress, and debt! Good thing is I got rid of my debt after selling a few of these! I went from 17 LV bags down to 9 LV & 1 Chanel. I still feel this is "too many". Never thought I'd say that! Lol Any thoughts/opinions are welcome to help me decide which too keepView attachment 4793006 and continue my version of minimalism! To each their own right?! I think I would like to keep 6 bags.
Well done on reducing your debt and that’s a beautiful collection. You do have 2 sets of bags with the same design but different print, perhaps you could look on reducing those. I would definitely keep the Pochette Métis, favourite. Perhaps getting a Chanel classic flap. Full leather tote bags tend to be too heavy for me, so I tend to avoid them.

Hi, thank you! Great suggestion... yes that would make sense! Thanks so much. For some reason that particular tote is very light weight! Even more so than my canvas hobo bag :)

I love your collection and how you’ve displayed it!

As for downsizing - it’s easy to say to get rid of the duplicates (twice/favorite), but if those are your most-used bags it would make more sense to keep them all and go a bit over 6.
The Neo Vivienne and Business Affinity are quite similar - do you use both equally? I would sell one of them.
The Lockme shoulder bag is also gorgeous but I know Lockme leather is soft and shows wear rather easily. It’s also kind of a hybrid of two bags you own - style is like Pochette Métis, lock is reminiscent of Neo Vivienne.
I would keep both totes if you use them both frequently. They are both very different styles.

Thanks for your reply! Funny you say that because I do have 2 favorites and 2 twice bags bc I use them so often. They work well with my lifestyle since I stay home now. I have to say the 2 twice bags are my most used bags of my Collection. I bought one to have as a carefree bag and ended up being my favorite grab and go bag! So I bought one more! Lol
Good point about my lockme and Vivienne however I kept both those this far bc one is black with silver and the other is a beautiful Bleu Marine w/silver it's a gorgeous blue! This decision is so hard! Lol And yes I would love to keep one tote and 1 hobo bag in my Collection! Thanks for reminding me why I have duplicates! Lol

I find this thread so interesting as I am constantly decluttering and cleaning out my closet/drawers. I am at work so no pictures but my current collection is:
-Mon Monogram Neverfull MM (casual bigger bag)
-Speedy 30 Damier Ebene (casual handheld bag) TBH I find it so uncomfortable to carry around but it was my first LV and a gift so due to sentimental value I will keep it forever.
-Epi Twist MM in black with matching small wallet (most formal of my bags, love it!)
-Gucci Dionysus Mini in Blue Blooms (more formal crossbody)
-Gucci Marmont Small Camera Bag (casual crossbody)

I am still pretty new at this so I don't have a huge collection to sort through or edit but I am conscious of what I buy because I hate having too much stuff go unused. I am actually trying to sell 2 Kate Spade bags since I recently got the Marmont. The only thing currently on my wishlist is a wallet from Christmas Animation

I am enjoying this thread a lot because I like to see what’s in people’s collection if they had to choose from the best of the best. The ones that make the cut are true keepers and have proved it’s worth. I love hearing about people’s thought processes which leads them to the decision to keep that bag.

Yes, my thoughts exactly! Love this thread! I'd love to hear more from others! Let's keep this thread going!!!

LV: Neverfull GM Mono, Neverfull MM Azur, Epi Neo Noe, Artsy Empreinte, Artsy Mono
Chanel: 227 Reissue flap, Small Classic flap, 19 bag, WOC (All black - I love black Chanel and black bags in general)!
Gucci: Soho Disco (Red), Marmont SuperMini (White)
Celine: Small Big Bag

So 12....but like to keep it closer to 10. I did sell my Azur Artsy this year. My next bag will most likely be the Chanel Trendy CC in beige, but I'm not in a hurry. I'll likely sell a bag when I buy that one. No sense having more than I can use.
