Hello everyone!
Here's my latest purchase: the mini turquoise Rose de Noël pendant.

As a side note, this is a pendant I had the chance to try on in London with my local SA.
I fell in love with this pendant even though I'd declined to see it with my home boutique SA. But since it arrived on the pieces to try in London, I was immediately charmed. I decided to buy it at once, and unfortunately, it wasn't possible since it's not my main boutique (the poor SA learned it the hard way and so did I on that occasion !) So I asked my main boutique to purchase this pendant over seven months ago. Having had no news recently, I contacted a boutique in Japan which is my next trip, explaining that this was the pendant I wanted to acquire as a priority, as I was going there in a few days. I was very excited about the possibility and the opportunity to find this item there and bring it as a souvenir. And all of a sudden, my SA wrote to me three days ago: my turquoise pendant arrived at the home boutique !! What a coincidence, right?! Knowing that at one of the stores in Japan, a SA had found a pendant (unfortunately, in a color I didn't like, judging by the videos...)
And what should I do now, since I'm really hesitant to buy similar earrings? These RDN are a truly superb collection. I love the asymmetry, the detail of the shape, and especially the stones, whether lapis lazuli or turquoise, and I can see myself buying even more pieces in the future, like the gray mother-of-pearl ones (a brooch or a large pendant). It's a collection that's perfect for mixing and matching IMO.
Here are some photos of my pendant on my ear. What do you think? Thanks for your feedback, and have a great weekend.

I actually think the turquoise is gorgeous against your skin tone! If the RDN turquoise earrings are hard to get in a color to match, maybe you could get the two butterfly earrings? Several people on the forum have paired those together and I think it’s a lovely combination.
May I ask, because I’m confused by your story: why couldn’t the London store sell you the pendant?

Personally, I love the turquoise earrings on you.
But then you’d need the 20-motif diamond and turquoise Alhambra.

The VCA wish list never ends.

I am unsure of the rule but my London SA thought it would be ok. Then he checked all details when I wanted to pay and then he told me he was so sorry but against their corporate rules to sell to somebody whose home boutique isn’t his. Well I was confused but in whole can’t complain I wouldn’t have been able to see that piece at that time at my boutique because I just bought the lapis earrings and the TQ RDN were allocated to someone else …

Dearest Sophie, warmest congratulations! The RdN pendent looks fabulous on you! The color fits your skin tone perfectly! I am very happy for you.
Saying this I am not quite sure about the RdN turquoise earrings. To my humble opinion the butterflies or maybe the new perlee Couleur will work better.
Wish you a nice weekend

I didn’t know that RDN pieces were only for reserved clients. Or maybe it’s because it was turquoise? Interesting to know.

Congratulations @Sophie0121 The TQ really pops on you! I could never make TQ work in my collection but on you it just glows! My vote to get the TQ butterfly earrings to pair with this gorgeous pendant.

Congratulations on the pendant…this is a lovely shade of turquoise. Now I personally find larger turquoise earrings difficult to wear near my face. I have earrings that I’ve never worn so maybe the butterflies or the perlee would work better.

Do you like the mop or pink sapphire more? I’m debating between these two as well.
I am happy to have both now, but if I had to pick one, I would say the pink sapphire is a great statement piece. The MOP has a beautiful, subtle glow (and I'm wearing it today!), whereas the sapphire is a fun pop of color that makes me happy since my favorite color is pink. While they are both theoretically the same design, I find that they are different enough to still have a place in my collection. They also are distinct in that they tend to mix and match better with different earrings. For example, I like the pink sapphire Butterfly with my RG pink sapphire Frivole earrings, but the MOP Butterfly goes nicely with my non-VCA MOP earrings or non-pave Frivole earrings.

@Sophie0121 Congratulations on your turquoise necklace! Beautiful color.

@Sophie0121 Congratulations on your turquoise necklace! Beautiful color.
I have the RG pink sapphire frivole earrings too. I need to try them with the pink sapphire butterfly pendant next time they’re available at the boutique. I have the pink porcelain holiday pendant but I haven’t worn it in a while and my favorite color is pink. I’m concerned it might not get as much wear. It is a beautiful and unique piece.

On the other hand, the RG mop is also beautiful and I love that it has matching earrings. It’s more versatile but I wonder if I would love the matching pieces in 10 years.

I wish all the pieces were available to try on at the same time so I can compare. They’re all beautiful so I feel like I can’t go wrong with either. I just need an unlimited budget :p
