So beyond excited to share my latest piece:
💃💃 💃

I've been deliberating over this necklace for the past six months. I adore long necklaces, particularly the 20-motif style. But my collection already includes two very versatile 20-motif pieces that offer excellent coverage for various outfits and occasions: an alternating onyx/diamond necklace in white gold and an alternating gmop/diamond necklace in rose gold.

For my next piece, I wanted to add some variety to my necklace collection. The Magic Alhambra 6-motif diamond necklace kept coming to mind as a good option to add some diversity. I tried on the necklace back in January, but that particular piece was already spoken for, and my VCA boutique is overseas.

Fast forward to May, my husband and I were planning another trip to the city where my boutique is located, and I asked my SA if she could have one ready for me to try during my visit.

It was love at first (second) sight, and I knew right away: this was the piece my collection needed*

Thank you @Bdbunny and @A bottle of Red for your advice on the piece -- I couldn't love the piece any more!

This piece looks perfect on you! I love how you are wearing it day to day and not just saving for black tie. Should be a versatile piece for you and give variety. Congrats.

Bummed! Would have loved to see it over a black t shirt. Wearing it over the solid cream sweater was the ultimate flex cause it was as subtle as you could make this piece but it still was spectacular. It made me go, “wait, what is she wearing?” And lean in to examine it more carefully. Can you post this pic in the casual VCA thread? That would show how even the most glamorous VCA piece can be worn casually.

Congratulations that finally you decided to get the TQ Butterfly 🦋 earrings! Can’t wait to see them together with your matching pendant!

In my wildest dreams, I do want to add more butterfly 🦋 earrings pairs but I am still conflicted on which ones to add because I really love the WG paved one and owning only 1 currently doesn’t feel complete 🤣 vs. getting other combinations in YG paved.

Well, for now I still have other VCA lists to work on, and given the uncertainty of the other ones that I am targeting - i may/may not get back to my 🦋 dilemma this year or maybe next year 🤣 if I am able to knock off my current target piece(s).

I managed to trim down my original wishlist , i.e. to remove Perlee clover bangle as I foresee I won’t wear bangle very often however, at the same time added more and more items which were not on my radar previously (because my kind SA allowed me to try on other pieces that’re available and somehow the ensemble convinced my mind to go for those 😅)

Yes, I've never expected to fall hard on the earrings, as compared to the BTFR. I've been asking my SA to get a quote for the single WG earring since 2023 and similar to concerns raised by other members - I found it hard to swallow on the price (1 single WG butterfly is still >> than a pair of WG VA pave for example) and thought might as well get a pair of another butterfly in different WG combi.

Then in early 2024 it went for a pause because I bought another creation and the dilemma surfaced again around end 2024 till now because I still could not get my no 1 earrings wishlist I've been dreaming of 😂 😂 😂

I was going through my VCA wishlist again this year. There are things I've entirely scrapped off but I've also added more things for e.g. I noted that I NEED to get a pair of YG Diamonds Paved earrings to complete the gap (which I dont have any at the moment) 😅

More or less I have decided on how and which combi to get but these may take a while since I am still giving myself time this year to see whether I can get any offer on my no 1 wishlist (which is on my priority to complete the set).

Suddenly it became very clear earlier this year - when the time’s right and the right pair came, such vision became reality.

It’s not technically a new new purchase since the pair came right after our Spring celebration ~ 2 months ago but I purposedly picked up this pair on my Birthday month as the real (and slightly belated) Birthday 🎁 too!

Knowing how particular I’ve always been with the natural stones, it took several pairs for me to find, compare, reject and re-hunt again. My VCA fairy 🧚 did not disappoint and I am glad that finally this pair came home with me.

Suddenly it became very clear earlier this year - when the time’s right and the right pair came, such vision became reality.

It’s not technically a new new purchase since the pair came right after our Spring celebration ~ 2 months ago but I purposedly picked up this pair on my Birthday month as the real (and slightly belated) Birthday 🎁 too!

Knowing how particular I’ve always been with the natural stones, it took several pairs for me to find, compare, reject and re-hunt again. My VCA fairy 🧚 did not disappoint and I am glad that finally this pair came home with me.

I know some people here are not fond of wearing asymmetrical 🦋 but for me, two 🦋 collections are the best in their original (asymmetrical) designs!
