Lol! I know, I know. I figured if I went to see it I would fall in love because I’m absolutely sure it is stunning. But...I know I want the regular style for my first Birkin. I am very casual and I think the sellier birkin is more formal. For a structured sellier I would prefer the Kelly. For your very first Birkin though...wouldn’t you wait like I am??

You did the right thing. Hold out for what you want. Just because something is rare or desirable, doesn’t mean it’s desirable to you. Personally I am not a fan of the Birkin sellier (yet .. lol, I know how these things go) Just wait for your right bag. You need to be able to use your first B! And quite honestly I’m not to sure about the usability of the sellier... I feel like it would really accentuate the boxiness of the B and make it feel even bigger

Finally got offered my (belated) birthday present! I'm over the mooooon :cloud9:

Birkin 25 in Etain Togo with ROSE GOLD Hardware! :heart: :heart: :heart:

I cannot begin to describe the beauty of rose gold. It is absolutely beauuutiful. This bag makes me bag content (for now, at least lol!) and I got a lot of other pretty little things, will post pics very soon!

While this wont hurt your chances its def an amazing offer. I would have at least gone to see it

Unless you had to board a plane... I would have gone to see it.
Sellier isn't THAT different than regular (BUT I DO LOVE SELLIER STYLE).. and it is such a special piece that you may have actually loved it once you saw it on you... but now you'll never know.
For me the answer is no.... I would not have passed right out of the gate even as a first Birkin because (if you're a collector, like me) we all know there will be a second Birkin and that one can be regular style.
I just always try to see things before I buy...or pass. H always has a way of surprising me.
That's just me... chillin in the minority here hahahaha wishin I had a sellier B25 ;)
