It was rejected by the client who designed it! And get this .... this is my very first Hermes purchase and bag. The SA offered it to me after we was talking about my birthday coming up in 2 weeks and I had only came in to shop for a twilly and kelly necklace. Needless to say I was shocked considering I have zero purchase history. I only stop into the store to browse and get familiar with the brand. The twilly and necklace would be my first purchase. When I stop in, I alway chat with the same SA about life and my photography job and never brought up a birkin. Haven’t seen her since in awhile since COVID but alway emailed her to check on her! I guess strange things do happen! In any case I didn’t have the money for the bag and told her I would need to speak with my husband first. My husband, parents and grandma all put up the funds an hour later to buy the bag as my 27th birthday gift!!! Bag is currently in its box at my parents home until my birthday so I can’t take photos lol this is killing me!

This is not strange. It’s rarer but not impossible. Non- pushy, lovely, sincere customers may be offered bags when they meet the right SA/ SM. This is how it happened for me in the past, I would like to think I happened to meet and clicked with my various SAs/SMs and it has just gone from there. Congrats and HBD!

I honestly love my SA, she is super sweet and she never seemed to force me to buy anything. I am not super well off so my purchase has to be well planned and thought out. I think she understood that and enjoyed my love for the brand. I bring her snacks every time I visit haha! And thank you so much!

This is the LOVELIEST story! I'm beyond pleased for you.
It reminds me of when I got offered a Birkin many moons ago by an SA who I had a great relationship with but with whom I spent maybe £350 in a year-sadly I couldn't afford the bag as I didn't want to ask my parents to help out as I was buying my 1st home.
Still haven't got a birkin but one day...
