Asked my SA for either a mini lindy or mini bolide and got presented with two tempting options. Now I can't decide between the two. doh:eek:
Barenia sounds extremely tempting (and rarer) but I'm a little concerned about the capacity of the mini bolide.
I love the mini lindy bag itself but I'm not sure about the combination of GHW and etoupe.

Another vote for the Mini Lindy. Etoupe + GHW is lovely, btw. But yes I would not choose a style you are not 10/10 in favour of simply because of the perceived scarcity of Barenia. Either way, two very tasty options from your sweet SA! <3

When she took it out, I knew right away. It can look almost black in low light and especially so at night. However, when I wear it with other colors like grays, creams and blues, it definitely looks more true navy to me. For me, since I don't have pop color bags and wear 95% neutrals, having both the navy and black work for me. The black is always an easy choice and especially beautiful for casual date nights when I usually wear black. Personally, I love navy and black together, so the BN looks wonderful with that too. Hope that helps, as I've never regretted having both.

I had been hoping for a Black B offer, and received a Blue Nuit phw offer...I was inclined to say no until I saw it....took it home and 2 months later got a black b with ghw offer !! So now I have both :cool:

Hi All,
I got my first H offer at the local boutique on Monday - K28 Rotourne in Gold with GH but I passed as at first I only wanted K25 Sellier, and I didn't check in person. But my SA explained to me the size diff and then later I said I am open to 28 size as well. Last night I got a text that K28 Sellier in Black with GH is available, so I will go check it fairly soon. What do you think? Did I make the wrong call? Or should I wait for another bag? My first choice is a B30/25 but the two offers I received have been Kellys... I really hate turning down offers...I am 5'3 for your reference, any thoughts would be appreciated!

Kelly’s are definitely currently in much higher production than birkins, which is probably why she’s offering them, but Birkins are still out there. Go see the bag if you think you might actually consider it but if it ends up not being right for you, just tell her “it’s a beautiful bag, thanks for letting me try it. I’m just not sure it fits my lifestyle right now. I think a Birkin XYZ will be a better fit for me so, sadly, I’m going to pass of the Kelly and wait for a Birkin.” Don‘t feel pressured, your SA will be able to treat another client and probably make more sales there. But also make it clear that you aren’t interested in a kelly right now or else she might keep asking. (Also if a K28 retourne was too big for you, a sellier is going to seem even larger.) good luck!

thank you so much for the insight and advice! Appreciate it! I have young kids and going to have another baby soon, so maybe that's why the offer :) On to another question though, if I do end up getting the bag, the purchase profile will need to get refreshed before I can get another bag offer? My understanding is 2 quota bags / year? Thank you!

I actually don’t think K28 will look too big for you especially in Retourne (and even Sellier) so maybe you can give it a look in person first?

At the end of the day though make sure you only say yes if you loved it on sight.

This is my HG bag. I have it and I think the size is perfect. I would def go look at it.

With kids I would highly recommend kelly since that will get you hands free. I would say k28 retourne is probably more useful than Sellier because it can fit more stuff. For example, my daughter’s water bottle can fit in the retourne but not Sellier. Also retourne is easier to open and close. HTH
