Ok ladies... you know I have been waiting on Black B30 togo RGHW for (seems like) everrrrr
I have an offer but it's diferent... so....
Would you take Black togo GHW that is arriving very soon or wait until who knows how long (or if ever) for the RGHW to arrive?

p.s. I can wait... but the end of semester is approaching... and my store hasn't received a black B30 in Togo in months and has received no bags with RGHW yet. They have only received black B30's in epsom, which I swiftly passed on...so .... hmmmm....

Girl! I feel for you.. such a tough decision. But I think like most people have said, I think you should get the GHW. Before this RGHW came out you always wanted the GHW. You know how to make GHW work for you. Plus if one day you get offered a RGHW and you want to take it, the black b30 GHw can probably be rehomed without too much (if any) loss. Or you can always get another color with RGHW.. etain with RGHW is TDF

Girl! I feel for you.. such a tough decision. But I think like most people have said, I think you should get the GHW. Before this RGHW came out you always wanted the GHW. You know how to make GHW work for you. Plus if one day you get offered a RGHW and you want to take it, the black b30 GHw can probably be rehomed without too much (if any) loss. Or you can always get another color with RGHW.. etain with RGHW is TDF

I'm still VERY happy... don't get me wrong. I have visions of my Olga charm dangling from her hardware already =)

Honestly, I don’t recall seeing that many reveals of the 30 with Rghw. I know there were a ton of 25s but don’t remember many 30s, though I’m keyed into watching 25s so maybe that’s why. I think the ghw will be beautiful!

Yes Black GHW is the ultimate classic. My friend and I were debating the longevity of Rose Gold... like is it a passing phase??? I personally love it and would take another biirkin in RGHW in a split second. Sooooo it will remain on my short list.

I have quite a few bags in epsom. I agree it is great for certain styles but not for birkin (for me). I have one b in epsom and it is my least favorite leather. The fact that it is light weight is probably the only thing I like about it. Doesn't age well IMO.

I had no idea Epsom doesn’t age well. :/ I recently picked up a b30 etain in Epsom. Now I am worried!

Today is actually the one year birthday for a B I had ONE DAY to fly and collect because, well because H told me to do it. You know how it is. It was also cinco de Mayo, so I flew into town, had a margarita (or two), and named her LuPITA b/c she was a total pain in the a$$ to go and collect. But now it’s an great memory. I think we all know you’re gonna love this bag and a B30 in black is sooooo wearable. Can’t wait to see it!!

I have this exact bag- you will love it! It is a true neutral bc it goes with everything- black, navy, grey, beige, etc! It’s also a true year round color- works in every season. Congrats!

I didn’t want to read this today Hahahaha. I’ve been wanting a k25 in RP but hated that it only came with phw. Lately I’ve been thinking maybe phw would be fine, because I absolutely love the color.

I definitely prefer GHW/RGHW but some colors actually look great with PHW - including RP.

You know when you have something in your head and it doesn't happen that exact way??? You feel conflicted. Well that is how I am feeling. HOWEVER.... I am obviously a fan of GHW and I dooooo already have a black C24 with RGHW. So there's that. I just got hooked seeing (what feels like) a gajillion reveals of this black birkin with rghw that I was set on that.
I know my SA can see what's coming and she wouldn't be offering me this bag if one in RGHW was coming this semester. She didn't say that but she did urge me to get this B30 because she literally hasn't seen black togo 30 in AGES.
At the end of the day, YES, I will still want RGHW, but not in black... I'd ask for another offering with this hardware. Greedy huh. hahahahah
I agree that black GHW is a classic beauty that I love for sure... I guess I'm just struggling bc so many RGHW bags have been revealed and I'm a little bit like WTH??? KWIM...

I think black with GHW is stunning. I’d take it over RGHW to be honest. I think you should think about it this way: do you want the hardware to pop more? If so, then gold will pop more. If you want a more subtle look, then wait for rose gold. But this is your decision, so do what feels right. Good luck deciding! I really want a black B30 so I think you are very lucky. But only get it if it’s right.

I wanted RP with GHW but I think this leather looks better with PHW.

I agree with everyone above. I'd take the GHW. The difference between RGHW and GHW is so subtle anyway. Advice from someone who owns both.

That's a great point!!! Only a few in 30... a gajillion 25!
