I agree with everyone above. I'd take the GHW. The difference between RGHW and GHW is so subtle anyway. Advice from someone who owns both.

I meant that I own both GHW and RGHW bags and the difference is subtle. I own a Prunoir bag with GHW and Etain with RGHW.

C24 rouge Hermes ghw - passed
C24 vert cypress ghw - passed
C24 rp ghw - passed

K25 ghw capucine retourne - thinking

2 considerations:
-Noticed these white corners on the inner pocket of the Kelly. SA showed me another k25 capucine and it has the same white corners too. Anyone has the same thing for their Kelly? This will be my first Kelly.
- first one has no visible veining but is A stamp. I know this has been discussed before but cant help but wonder why A stamp. Second one is a C stamp and has very visible veining and appears slouchy. Both are Togo.

Can't answer about the white other than it could be the chalk/markings from where they cut the leather.

Yes Black GHW is the ultimate classic. My friend and I were debating the longevity of Rose Gold... like is it a passing phase??? I personally love it and would take another biirkin in RGHW in a split second. Sooooo it will remain on my short list.

I will take the black GHW that is coming in.... =)

I have quite a few bags in epsom. I agree it is great for certain styles but not for birkin (for me). I have one b in epsom and it is my least favorite leather. The fact that it is light weight is probably the only thing I like about it. Doesn't age well IMO.

Black and GHW is a classic. You’re not going to regret your decision, I promise. I have a 25 and I haven’t stopped using it sing I got it. I have jewelry & belts in both RG & GHW & they both go with everything. Once the RG fever slows down, who knows what will happen? Plus, the way I see it, a black bag looks great with either HW; a GT or Etain looks a lot more interesting with RGHW, so you saved the hardware for the right bag. Enjoy it!

P.S. maybe Kate will convince you that black & gold is the way to go
