I’d take the Cactus with PHW. I have it with GHW and kind of wanted PHW instead.

Ohhh??? I see I see!! And how do you feel about the color of the bag? Is it easy to wear or match with outfits? But I do think it’s a gorgeous pop of color for a small bag

girl i have a black box kelly and it's not that frightening to use, it's durable and low maintenance. I like the shiny aspect of it too.

Oh!!? That’s great to hear! Thanks for sharing! Do you Baby it? I usually baby my bags and like to keep them nice if possible so I was a little scared but i feel like it’s a collectors piece too since box is a heritage leather in all ☺️

I like seeing a lady who knows what she wants and isn’t willing to compromise! Temptation especially in Hermèsland can be quite extreme. But, it also leads to not loving and/ or using the handbags, if you give into it. Stay strong and believe that your dream handbag/ bags WILL find its/ their way to you one day. I know it is a difficult journey with lots of downs but in the end it is well worth it.

I apply the following phrase mainly to when I am purchasing Art, but I have found that it easily applies to anything. If I love it at first sight, I will always love it. If I don't, I may learn to appreciate it, but it will never become part of my soul. (And yes, It is from Pretty Woman but I already had this mindset years before that came out. When I heard it on screen it re-enforced my belief and resonated with me. In the movie, it is the scene where Richard Gere’s character (Edward) takes Julia Robert’s character (Vivian) to see an opera for the first time).

I am living proof that patience does pay off at Hermès, eventually. As, I finally, after I cannot even count how many years, was offered my holy grail handbag (30cm Barenia Fauve (smooth not the newer version) with GHW) at FSH (I know I have been truly lucky to have been offered birkins there at every one of my visits but none where exactly what I wanted so I always politely declined them. In a very weak moment, I even purchased an excellent condition preowned B35 in chamonix with GHW, which was close but not THE ONE so after a year I sold her) in April of this year. I was so shocked I had to have a beverage before I could go to the cashier to checkout LOL

I may be in the minority here regarding this. But, I do actually think that the SAs value and appreciate honesty. It also makes for a much more genuine relationship.

And all the lovely handbags you passed on may very well be someone else’s holy grail handbag, so it all works out!

Regarding the beverage: naturally, as we were in Paris. Wink!

It surprisingly goes amazingly well with many colors. You can easily match it with jeans, black, or white pants and dresses with yellow or green.

I passed the bag, but I am crying inside. It’s my dream combo bag. However, the Togo leather is so dry and matte. I just wondering if any of you ladies have experienced or seen that type of leather?

Yes 1 bag, I know what you mean. It looks powdery with no sheen. It’s not defective, but it’s personal taste.

I see. Oh man, I know it is not defective but yes I can’t enjoy a bag that so dry to touch!

I don’t think conditioning will help. Also, I have heard that the artisans at Hermes don’t recommend using any conditioner in any bags. In fact, I did over conditioning my C18, and it almost become a disaster. I ended up sending it to H spa to restore it.
