No, that was not allowed.... she was beautiful! I was swooning over the color and ostrich. Just gorgeous.
BTW- I had looked at Delvaux earlier in the day and theirs (violet ostrich) just did not compare to H in beauty of the color. It lacked a richness.
Violine ostrich is back, it is an older purple and looks to me like I would expect Amethyst to, in Ostrich.

Given that dye ingredients have changed, do you have an opinion on how the new violine compares with the old one? I ask because I think of Amethyst as being darker? (Need a head scratching emoji here.)
Yes Amethyst in Croc is much darker but in Ostrich it would be a pastel version in the same kind of shade of purple. Eg like Fuchsia Croc vs Fuchsia Ostrich. I was just trying to give an idea for those who have not seen Violine Ostrich in real life. Violine isn't as similar say to UV. I think the new batch is a shade of two lighter than the original batches. JMHO.
