The Playboy Mansion has become ground zero in a Los Angeles police investigation.
Detectives are probing a possible sexual assault that took place at Hugh Hefner's famed abode over the weekend.
A statement released by the Los Angeles Police Department indicated investigators on Monday began looking into allegations of a forced encounter at an event at the Mansion but offered little in the way of details.

"For reasons of law and confidentiality that are critical in such investigations, no additional information will be released," said LAPD spokesperson Jason Lee.

The incident apparently took place at the Midsummer's Night's Dream pajama party, an annual soiree hosted by the magazine's octogenarian founder and world's most famous bachelor that, according to playboy.com, transforms the Gothic Tudor-style abode into "a Mediterranean-inspired hookah bash."
A giant mural of a genie-like Hef smoking a water pipe welcomed such celebrity guests as Martin Landau, Jon Lovitz, Dave Navarro, Garry Marshall, Heroes' Milo Ventimiglia, Jennifer Coolidge, Crispin Glover, Scott Baio, Jamie Kennedy and, of course, Paris and Nicky Hilton.
A gaggle of Playmates mingled with the revelers, who packed the dance floor until sunrise, checked out the private zoo and descended into the Grotto.
Rob Hilburger, publicity director for Playboy Enterprises, told E! News he had not been alerted about any police investigation, but there was a minor incident reported by Mansion security.
A female server informed security personnel that an ex-boyfriend had tried to talk to her despite a restraining order against him. The man, who was on the guest list, was escorted off the estate without incident. Neither person was identified.
"We obviously take this very seriously, and we want to help any way we can," Hilburger said.
Hefner remains a full-time resident of the Playboy Mansion and, even at 81, hasn't let up on the lavish parties that have given his residence its mystique and become a cottage industry. He frequently rents out the grounds for various corporate events.
Those who have never received an invite will soon be able to get a glimpse at the goings-on. Rush Hour director Brett Ratner recently signed on to direct a big-screen biopic of Hefner that will chronicle his days from upstart publisher of Playboy to international icon.

Hang on - it says "Sexual Assault" but then it says that an ex-boyfriend tried to TALK to this girl despite a restraining order - unless he said something really kinky - I don't see this is Sexual Assault!

yeah I don't think that's assault but it is violating a restraining order if he's supposed to keep a certain distance from her - ???
