Seriously Banned NON APPLICABLE ACC from LV!

When I tried to buy other items (bags, mini pochette, key pouch) it said the same thing once it was in my cart. I use the app often and have never seen that. And after paying for the charm, my order was cancelled immediately! I tried it on three different days.

They kept the gift packaging and receipt. I just think that’s petty. Why not return everything back to me?
So are they claiming you had used the bag? Probably petty if they took the gift card and ribbon back. Maybe they took it off to check the item and forgot to put it back or threw it out. I don’t know if they would reuse it..what does that code mean? that you are banned? I don’t understand why you would be banned for returning an item and then they returned it to you..

I understand your frustration but the ban means that any order will be cancelled. Something triggered and you are suspected of something. (Not saying that it is true! ). Given that you are banned, I would try to avoid any further purchase attempts. It may continue to aggravate the system. I think the time frame can vary but if it is a red flagged account, it can be a minimum of two years or more and there are no recourse actions available to reverse that decision. Sorry. Other members on this Forum have had similar emails and ban letters happen to them. Take your time, in two years try again. Anyhow, your status would never show up on your end, only on theirs. You cannot just log into to check if you are yellow , red or whatever. The ‘non applicable acc ‘ thing really is a material thing as I see it on my ATB items regardless of account status. Again, so sorry to hear about your situation.
I don’t recall ever seeing that code when I order online…maybe I’ll have to check next time..

The "NON APPLICABLE ACC" I took to mean the product description (a non-applicable accessory) . Here's another example, if you add fashion LV jewelery to your cart, the same notice appears. It just means the item is NOT real 18k gold . Doubt it has anything to do with a person's sales status.

Question: How do you know when you are banned? Red flag? add to cart button disabled? pay button disabled?
LV will either send you a letter or email stating so. I only buy in person, so not sure how it works online. My account was yellow last year from buying too much of one item. My CA let me know. When your account is yellow the CA needs to punch in a code to override the system. Once the yellow turns red, there's no code for that. You're banned for 24 months. I believe others on here who were banned and tried to buy online, LV just cancels the order.

Yes, exactly what @brnicutie said. Do note that the Color coded system doesn’t actually show up on your app or anywhere on the consumer end.

You can’t actually see a yellow or red or any colour indicator if you log into your account but you will know by notified by some vector of communication (email, letter, or SA telling you verbally) and your online purchase attempts will automatically be cancelled.

I think LV got annoyed because I filed a dispute. I’ve never done that with LV and I’ve rarely done it on eBay (I’ve been on eBay since 2003). PP kept closing the case and the last rep admitted the “repaired/altered” bag reason was PP’s reason - not LV. She said it’s just a code they use to close a dispute (when I pushed for further explanation). I’m not even going to bother calling LV. I do have an SA I usually work with but I’m not going to involve them. What’s also strange is that I’ve made a lot of purchases- both bags and accessories over the past 18 months. I did one return so this would be my second return this year. I rarely return things so maybe that didn’t help either. ‍♀️

Every purchase is cancelled with a “pleasant” email with no real reason. We’re sorry we’re unable to fulfill your order at this time…..

There's no use in overthinking it. I don't think you did anything wrong. I've read on these threads where people have returned 5-6 items in a year and haven't been banned. They have no rhythm or reason for the way they do things. I guess it just comes down to who is making the call. When people buy online it's hard to make the call. There are people who are true scammers and abuse the system. Then there are people who truly got a defective bag. The call can go either way. That's why I just always buy in person, so I can look the item over before taking it home.

It doesn’t sound like excessive returns so I don’t think that is the issue..Are you sure you are banned? maybe try placing an order over the phone and see what happens? if you filed a dispute to get your money back, that may have prompted a ban. I thought I read on here that they didn’t like that when people file disputes for money back.?

I might try it. The whole ordeal is strange. Even during the “shortage” I was able to get bags.

You have mentioned you have made a lot of purchases over the last 18 months. Maybe you purchase too often? Returns also count as transactions. This latest one may have just put you over the limit. I don’t know your history but if any of the ‘rules’ were broken, you might just have to wait it out until your 12 months from the oldest afftected transaction resets - likely in 30 days since you haven’t received any letter indicating otherwise. The purchase limitations can be found online under the legal terms. I’ll post it here for easy reference and you can see if any of those terms may apply to you. I really don’t know what else to say to help you out. Good luck.

Are these rules for LV.com on-line purchases or does it include in-store? :confused1: If it includes in-store, I really need to slow down.
