Seriously Banned NON APPLICABLE ACC from LV!

I called PP again and the rep took notes and said he was going to talk to his manager. He was so apologetic and said to look out for emails. I waited a day and didn’t hear anything. When I logged into PP it said they denied the case since I “altered/repaired the bag”!!!! What? I was so angry- I didn’t contact them this past weekend. I’m going to call again tomorrow. I think now they’re just grasping at straws - afraid of the juggernaut.

Still arguing with PP. I call and get a different rep each time. They’re helpful but days later the case is closed…Most recently they said I altered/repaired the bag! They’re trying to find any excuse not to take the bag back. No mention of my gift receipt or anything either.

I think I’m banned now too! I tried buying a bag charm and the the order was cancelled by LV! I tried three different times just for the heck of it. They sent a “nice” email - gaslighting with no reason.
I had a feeling it would come to this but I don’t like caving to large monopolies. I’ll just do pre-loved or have my sister buy things for me if they want to be a bully.

Personally, I would not want to support a company that treated me poorly
I agree! I called PP again and went through the whole story. I was on hold for ten minutes. She came back and gave me a few new ideas. Now I’m just waiting again. I just want my money back, return the bag and I’ll move on! She said it might take a while but that’s ok!

Good luck!!! It seems so bizarre and unfair

It’s really bad! And controlling. When I go into my account in the app (when I try to buy things - the bag charms I mentioned) plus other very pricey bags - I see a notation “NON APPLICABLE ACC”
Basically my account is non applicable. I’m fully banned from buying anything. All for a bag they think I carried and scratched up. I know we have LV SA’s and employees on TPF so they know what’s going on. If they don’t, welp…
I know we’re in a bad economy but you need to take that scratched up bag (hidden under the flap, of course) back.

The mods might move this but….I’ve posted about this in another thread but I think it needs to be shared with more people. I’ve been an avid LV lover and purchaser for over 20 years. I’m shadow banned from LV.
Back in September i purchased an LV Croisette (online) since i wanted a light colored crossbody bag. I bought the bag but felt it was too small (I tried it on while inside my house to check the length of the strap). I never carried the bag or used it anywhere. I returned it and it made its way up to the UPS hub in Jacksonville where they covered up the LV label and returned it back to me!! I checked the box to make sure the bag wasn’t missing but I didn’t worry about anything else.
I thought that was strange- they covered up the New Jersey address where it was going ( the warehouse) with a plain white label and placed a new label with my address on it - back to Florida. Meanwhile we had a hurricane going on down here…
I called LV and they were confused. The rep said they were going to email a new shipping label. I waited a few days and had to call back to explain the whole thing again and they finally sent a label. I shipped it and they - NJ- shipped the box back to me - with the bag missing the gift card/receipt and ribbon. I called them and they said it wasn’t in pristine condition!
Really? I filed a PP claim and they kept coming up with weird comebacks- altering/repairing the bag. The last rep I spoke to said it’s not LV- it’s PP. I don’t think PP is even bothering to contact LV. Why keep my gift receipt and ribbon! Well, it’s not a full set then. I know their tricks. They hate when people resell their bags. And a full set helps to authenticate the bag a little bit. But, that rep gave me the idea to contact the bank that finances PP credit. I’m going that route and waiting. Note to self- Take pictures and videos when you unbox your items! Of all the hardware too! And the return. And then repeat… ugh!
Now my profile says NON APPLICABLE ACC
Non applicable account!

I hear your frustration and I hope it gets resolved. However, the “non applicable acc” refers to accessory. It is a bag charm so the material is listed as non applicable accessory meaning it is not leather machina épi etc. It is a commonly listed on all their accessories if you add to cart that is what shows up for everybody.
Good luck with your situation.

I think I just responded to your other post on this in another thread. The “non applicable acc” refers to the bag charm material as being an accessory and had nothing to do with you personally. It is a material entry. Everybody gets that description, like a color identifier, if they add a bag charm to their shopping cart. Usually it would say the leather like vachetta or monogram or empreinte if it was a handbag.

I guess I don’t understand. Was there something missing from the bag that they returned it to you or just they felt it had been used? I don’t know what you mean by “they hate it when people resell their bags and a full set helps to authenticate the bags”?

When I tried to buy other items (bags, mini pochette, key pouch) it said the same thing once it was in my cart. I use the app often and have never seen that. And after paying for the charm, my order was cancelled immediately! I tried it on three different days.

They kept the gift packaging and receipt. I just think that’s petty. Why not return everything back to me?

I understand your frustration but the ban means that any order will be cancelled. Something triggered and you are suspected of something. (Not saying that it is true! ). Given that you are banned, I would try to avoid any further purchase attempts. It may continue to aggravate the system. I think the time frame can vary but if it is a red flagged account, it can be a minimum of two years or more and there are no recourse actions available to reverse that decision. Sorry. Other members on this Forum have had similar emails and ban letters happen to them. Take your time, in two years try again. Anyhow, your status would never show up on your end, only on theirs. You cannot just log into to check if you are yellow , red or whatever. The ‘non applicable acc ‘ thing really is a material thing as I see it on my ATB items regardless of account status. Again, so sorry to hear about your situation.

This is why I try to ship to a store so I have witnesses to verify condition. This is too much money and headache for a bag. I realize getting to a store is not always an option but your experience would give me pause going forward. I am sorry this happened to you- LV seems to be getting more aggressive about their returns and what they accept back. I hope this gets resolved in your favor and thanks for sharing- it is a good reminder to all of us about returns.
