I got there once before the sun came up and there were two girls camped out in sleeping bags up against the door, and there were already a dozen or so people lined up behind them.

Probably the only time there'd be no line is once they're closed.

EB, thanks so much. There are -- gulp -- four new furry additions to the household now. I decided to adopt a kitten with cerebellar hypoplasia and her sister and ended up with the whole litter. Somewhere, Winky is smiling knowing that it took four babies to fill the void he left behind. Meet Tilly, Puffy, Dandi and Bandit.

Had to respond... We have a gray cat named jitters that looked exactly like that when he was a kitten...anyhow, these kittens are sooo cute!!!

Sale rookie here, with a question for the sale experts: is there any reason to get up at the crack of dawn, or should I just show up whenever, and get in line with the rest of the hordes -- I'm not a VIP and won't be in town Wednesday in any event. I'm also wondering about the rumor of a one-scarf limit, any news? And finally, any tips/hints/suggestions on how to get the most out of the sale experience? TIA!
