I made it through most of the month without a Chanel purchase, but ruined my record yesterday with these little beauties. And I had promised myself to stop buying fashion jewelry, but these were just too cute to resist

Can I ask - any particular reason for not wanting to buy fashion jewellery? Just wondering if it’s due to quality issues or anything like that? I haven’t started down the Chanel earrings road yet but I can see how it’d be a dangerous and slippery slope!I have the same problem too. I keep telling myself not to buy fashion jewelries. But every season I would see a piece, especially earrings, that I really like.![]()

They have a shorter life span due to tarnished metal and loss of stones. And for the price tag, that money would be better put towards real precious metals and stones. BUT, I find them hard to resist; the slippery slope is a real risk. I am not sure if it is possible or if Chanel will do it. I have heard people have had crystals replaced that has fallen out, but the bad news is that it can take months to get it done.Y

But - is it possible to polish the metal to fix it?
That’s really bad, Chanel shouldn’t be taking so long to fix items.I am not sure if it is possible or if Chanel will do it. I have heard people have had crystals replaced that has fallen out, but the bad news is that it can take months to get it done.
Usually it is the finish wearing off, so polishing won’t help, unfortunately. But all my Chanel fashion jewelry I have had for the past few years still looks great, so a I am hopeful I won’t have any problems for a good while. That’s really bad, Chanel shouldn’t be taking so long to fix items.
I meant maybe it’s possible to just get a polishing cloth and polish the metal at home? That seems to work with other costume jewellery sometimes
We went to Sydney..Nice! Where was the holiday? Love seeing travel pics!
