Fro those of you that know the seller lindas_stuff, can you maybe help me convince her to unblock my buyer account? :crybaby:She doesn't seem to reply to my emails.

For some reason she blocked my account because I asked for a refund of the shipping charges that cost me. I was overcharged because the shipping wasn't combined, totalling $150 for clothes only. She refunded me $100. I know it states on her website that you need to email her for combined shipping, that of which I did several times. When the combined balance showed up on my ebay account I immediately paid and the charge came to $150.

I really do like this sellers auction thats why I'm kinda ruminating on this dilemma and there are several things on her store that I want as of now. Any consoling advice would be appreciated ! :shrugs:

start another ID. If she won't sell to 0 fb buyers, buy something small to chalk up feedback, you can have as many ebay IDs but different email addresses for each.

VPT, I have a question about this: if you start another ebay user i.d., can it be connected to PayPal with all of your info on your original i.d.? I would love a separate one just for buying small items. TIA!

To the OP: Linda's Stuff is a great store. She is one of my favorite stores too. She does a tremendous volume of business and perhaps just has a policy of not dealing with anyone who complains about anything. I think VPT's suggestion is worth considering. It may be the only way you are able to buy from her again. Good luck!

but i thought "big brother is watching you" that they check the IP address of accounts and block them? didnt i read this somewhere here?

oh and yes i know you can have separate accounts linked to one paypal account coz one time i asked my cuz to pay for some stuff i won over at ebay...

It's against eBay policy to create another account to bid on items sold by someone who has already put you on their blocked bidder list. If you bid and win, she can (and most likely will) report you to eBay and they will kick you off of eBay without hesitation. I've been on the selling end of situations like this and have reported buyers who have done this to me. I would find another seller if I were you.

Thanks a million, print*model, for the info! I have only one eBay id and did not know, although I should have assumed, that there was an eBay rule regarding this. Once again, I am so grateful for the knowledge available in the Forum and our wonderful members who are there to guide us!

To the OP: I've very sorry, sweetie, for inadvertently advising you to do something against eBay policy. However, perhaps a friend could purchase an item for you. Would that be allowed, print*model?

that's kinda harsh though especially for honest buyers

ITA, it is harsh. I was rather surprised because I have done quite a bit of buying from Linda and have found her to be more than fair in her dealings with me, as well as very personable. However, it is each seller's perogative to block any bidders they choose not to deal with. Perhaps in this "new age" of eBay she simply sees this as protecting herself. Sellers are becoming extremely wary and very selective about who they sell to. Unfortunately, even honest buyers are sometimes blocked. I would bet the farm that only a few months ago, this would never have happened. If you want to PM me your ebay id and tell me what you would like for me to say, I will be happy to email her in your behalf.

its alright, I actually was contemplating on getting another ebay id. I'll try finding someone who can purchase stuff for me (which will be diff. !). Somehow I do hope she responds to my emails requesting for an unblock :crybaby:.

I've had one dealing with this seller. She sold me something she didn't have. That was pretty annoying but she asked me to be understanding that due to the size of her business etc etc etc. I would expect that she would in turn be similarly understanding with her customers when an issue comes up.

I see that you have emailed her, in my experience it takes a few days to get a response. You could also try calling her?

that's pretty frustrating-what happened to you. I will call her if she hasn't responded to my emails.

Lindas stuff is a fantastic store with great things. I know she is very big and may just be atking time to deal with your query. I have asked questions before and it has taken days for a reply. However she may have blocked you due to the past problem and may therefore stick to that decision. Good luck.
