Another option is to donate it to a battered women's shelter or a home where very young pregnant women who have no family are living. These women are often in need of appropriate clothing and accessories for job interviews.
What a splendid, caring and loving thought. We who are so fortunate to be able to have these things sometimes forget how blessed we are. Thank you for this.

I've donated some bags to Dress for Success; they help outfit women who are trying to enter the workplace. They accept suits and other business wear as well as business appropriate bags. I've never been able to bring myself to buy uber expensive bags (my LV NFs are the highest ticket items), and once I'm done with it I'm happy to find it a new home. I do the same thing with clothing and household items; I hate selling things and once the money has been spent, it's gone.

I bought quite a few bags over an 18 month period, and realized that there were a couple I would just never wear since I had acquired bags I liked much better. They were like new and still style current, but I would only have worn them a few days here or there out of a sense of obligation. It made more sense to me to give them away to someone who will actually use them before they look old.
