I’m sorry for the multiple posts. I forget what I buy lol.

Last week this Le Cruset tea pot was sitting there, perfect with the company sticker on the bottom! It has a strainer inside. So cool! My oldest daughter loves Le Cruset, it was 5.99!

Stopped at the Sal Val today, my gosh I haven’t been in it feels like forever, lol!

Almost pounced on the woman when she came out from the back with this bag on top of a bunch of other bags.

Not posted in a while. I have recently been buying mostly fabrics via online market places but over the weekend I finally managed to get out into some shops. My finds from the weekend. Nothing too exciting. I bought the Disney book and Agatha Christie book for my sister as she is a big fan of both. The sewing pattern I had to pick up as it’s becoming more and more rare for me to find older patterns. A nice simple 60’s dress (I don’t usually buy 60’s patterns as I prefer 30’s 40’s and 50’s but I liked this one). And a Cheetah print glasses case. The most expensive item was the sewing pattern which works out at being roughly $2.50.

I remember patterns being so cheap. Then fabric and patterns got so expensive it was cheaper to buy clothes than to make them. Has the pattern been used?

Also look at that - size 14 is bust 34. Now a US size 14 is something like a 40 inch bust.

I had a look at the pattern to make sure all the pieces are there. I think it has been used but it is in very good condition and the pocket pattern piece has not been cut to the seam allowance so I don’t think that piece has been used. Most likely used just once.
Yeah I wish it was still cheaper to buy patterns and fabric. I love sewing but the price adds up quickly. It’s also funny to see the evolution of sizes as you said

I have old patterns, gave many of them away. You are correct, material is expensive.

My little $15 find... Coach 9541 Small Soho Hobo... officially vintage last year! Another manifested find. I noticed that somebody had a shelf of Soho bags.. I thought it'd be so cool to have one too.

That's what I have as my profile photo. I've had mine for 21 years now! It's held up very well, as it's one of my most used bags.

I'm checking it Tomsmom. It's too good to be true in the "bins", but I did find some Nasa photos. I was told to insure 2 of the photos for $7500. I didn't authenticate the other 7 photos. I found those pictures in the bin. I will upload.
