Just searching this little ornament...
I always laugh at 1stDibs prices.

I have 1st dibs to be either super reasonable/cheap or incredibly insane.

Now, I’ve been told the listing fees are high, and they have to pay for every thing that is posted. Essentially pay for a “store”.

It’s my go-to place for Fabrege or Tiffany Studios pieces (so, things that are $10k to 1 mil at open auction) and I usually find items for less than auction prices, but a little more than the actual gallery price (probably because of the haggle feature, plus fees)

Do I find 1st Dibs quality of items at thrift? Heck, I found a LCT favrile toothpick holder at a thrift for $0.50. And it’s about $100 to $400 on 1st dibs. But the average 1st dibs shopper doesn’t want to sift through approximately three hundred dollar tree and souvenir mugs, once a week, for 10 years, to get lucky once (okay, I’ve gotten amazing things more than once. But my hypothetical shopper isn’t contented by French and Swedish crystal)

nib callous remover for $8
Rag and Bone dress for $8

At the flea market, 3 pieces of Le Creuset, a 26 cm round oven, 23 cm oval oven and a stoneware ocean colored dish.

Paid $23

Not a clothing deal, but got 12 sealed bottles of Filippo Berrio oil for $20, at the flea. On the "river" that is what it is priced at per bottle this size. Good exp date.
I had 24 bottles, but a woman asked for some and I try to share, because you never know what the other person may have next week.
