Interesting. I could never carry anything with something's head on it. That is so disturbing. I thought it was stingray because a long time ago I saw a stingray bag and had never seen one, but when I looked it up, it wasn't the same. I thought the seond one was turtle (also disturbing). They are not my bags. Someone posted all these bags and shoes she got at an Estate sale. I am intrigued, as you are. I consider myself pretty knowedgable on bags, but these are stumping me.

I can see the second one being tortoise. It kind of looks like my tortoise's skin.

Revisiting the 80s with this jacket...could not resist for $8nz. Believe it's a men's but don't care cause it's cool.
Do need to air it out as it smells of storage and I will give the leather a clean

That is a good question. I would bet it is embossed leather from the look and feel...and it has held up really well. I haven't researched it much yet. The inner label says it is "Black Trevi Collection" which I am totally unfamiliar with...it also says "Handcrafted Italian Leather" which made me happy.

Sorry I couldn't answer sooner, the app isn't working very well on my phone. I think someone posted frog; I thought it was stingray as well. I will need to look closer at the other bag. * Do you think it may be snake? Does it feel like scales?

I don't recall Brahmin ever using exotic leathers. It is probably embossed.
