Hi everybody! First time poster on this great thread. I saw some Coachie friends here recently and was inspired by everyone’s treasures.

So I thought I’d join in with a few finds from GW trip with my teenage sons this morning …. 90s anyone — Nambe ($2) and Dansk made in Italy ($4)? Any other Man City fans ($10!)? Huge platter will hold 20# turkey plus trimmings. Pristine authentic team store training jacket! Player 2 put together a great Adidas training suit for $19. Happy early Christmas 🤣

I have a question for my thrifting friends. I love the thrift, adore the “hunt” because you truly don’t know what you will find. However, my number 1 reason to go to the thrift store (I’m a regular at my local Sal Val), is to clear my head. When life is too much, horrible day at work, too much stress from people/family/etc… I hit the Sal Val.

No one bothers me, the staff is pleasant and will say hello, and I don’t have to talk to anyone. Just scour the racks. It’s the best place to be.

I was a caregiver for my mom, and I would stop at GW after work to clear my head. You are correct. Everyone was nice, I could walk, clear my mind, before I made it to my mom. It helped with my stress.
