second thoughts about my new daytona

I think most serious Rolex collectors would probably prefer a Daytona over a daydate. However from a purely aesthetic perspective, it does have that big watch look--which is a look that takes time to get used to. Can you keep the Daytona and a get a daydate sometime in the future? Is that a possibility?

you know i'm seriously considering keeping the daytona and rocking it while i still can! i really want a rose gold rolex and no diamond on the bezel for the lady datejust is a deal breaker. i already have a white gold with diamond bezel patek and yellow gold with diamond bezel cartier demoiselle so i was really counting on a rose gold rolex with diamond bezel.

so, i'm seriously thinking of keeping the daytona and saving up for the platinum lady datejust with ice blue face and diamond bezel/markers. that watch is so awesome!!!

You need to update that wish list girl!!

I think that is a GREAT decision. I think you said you were 37 or 38, same as me, which is not old at ALL, and you have PLENTY of time to be fashion forward and edgy. I know my choice was edgy in its size, but I figure that by the time I "shouldn't" be wearing it, I'll be too old to realize I shouldn't, and also need the big numbers for my eyes, lol!

haha! glad to get your post. i was starting to feel a little sorry for myself, thinking that i was getting too old for certain styles. but i realize that i still dress pretty young and i can see the daytona working for most of my outfits.

wishlist updated!
