Second chance notices!!!

I sold an item on ebay this week and got a email from a buyer that she recieved a 2nd chance offer from me. (She is also a PF'r) I never sent her a 2nd chance offer, I have called ebay just in case and I was told that this happens on a regular basis and to beware of spam mail that has bugs attached that will give them my emai address along with my password!!! I had to change my password for my paypal and ebay and screen name accounts!!!!

Do you know those emails you get through the ebay service of people offering to sell you stuff, like those that start with "dear siirs" DON'T OPEN THEM!!!! those are the ones that are bugged!!!

Another note, if you get a second chance notice be sure to contact the seller and the one who won the auction! That is the best thing you can do to make sure you are not being scammed!

legit 2nd chance offers are sent directly through ebay and it will say so under my ebay, so dont open it if its not through my ebay.

There have been a lot of those going around lately . I just forward them straight to spoof@ebay

Most of them are scams unless they come thru eBay. Even then I would double-check with the seller.

If it sounds too good to be true, it generally is.

Oh my...that IS scary...you just have to be sooooo careful on ebay these days...*sigh*

I once got 6 in one day for the same auction (it was a bid on a high-end necklace and I was the third highest bidder)!
