right - I don't know how many times since this news broke and people have talked about these parties how many have said "a Diddy party was something everyone wanted to be invited to"! especially the white parties because those were often in the news and press. it was like in high school being invited to hang out with the popular kids.

But weren't the sex parties a different thing than the white? The white parties were rather glamorous with lots of photo ops and making connections and those sex parties were anything but elegant.

I can understand people wanting to go to the former but not the latter.

The way I understand it, a lot of times the nasty stuff happened after the main party. So it could be that if you had a little too much alcohol or drugs at the main party, you could easily find yourself led into the after party. The allure of being down to party and being invited into the inner circle was probably hard to resist for some women.

Which leads me to think it’s easy to overlook the concept of low self-esteem and the desire to be accepted or thought of as desirable. So you’re invited in and the next thing you know you’re being abused.

yes - the white parties were the ones were everyone famous where seen in the papers and magazines which is why they were so popular with people who loved getting an invite. you wanted to be seen at those. I think most if not all of those were at his homes.

some people said that the sex parties were happening in other rooms that they were taken too while the party was going on. most times it looks like those were at clubs.

Gene Deal did not know the specific reason why 2Pac had an issue with JAY-Z, but he thought it may have something to do with Hov working with The Notorious B.I.G on “Brooklyn’s Finest” from his 1996 album Reasonable Doubt. Biggie made a clear reference to Pac on the track when he rapped, “If Faith have twins, she’d probably have two pacs/ Get it? 2 Pac’s?”

During a 2020 Instagram Live with Fat Joe, Irv Gotti claimed that he told the “Dead Presidents II” rapper not to do “Brooklyn’s Finest,” though it had nothing to do with Pac. “I was dead set against it,” Gotti said. “I was telling Jay, ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it’ and he was like, ‘Why?’ I was like, ‘Big, he’s too strong. Before we take over the world, we gotta take over the West Coast. Before we take over the West Coast, we gotta take over the East Coast. Before we take over the East Coast, we gotta take over New York. Before we take over New York, you gotta take over Brooklyn and he owns all that.’”

It would seem some people would benefit from Pac & Biggie being out of the picture, so to speak. I can only imagine the unbelievable details/stories from behind the scenes that we the public don't know.

that is obviously what he thought but he thought wrong. he could never have what Pac had. he was going to be even bigger getting into movies and he was jealous. and obviously his so-called "best friend" was also seen as a threat to him.

Never underestimate a teenager’s ability to manipulate their parents and scheme their way into adult events.

There are always going to be those kids who will go to dramatic lengths to get themselves into possibly dangerous situations. The combination of no fear and no sense is difficult to overcome for even diligent parents.
