This one was edited for the 50th Aniversary of the People Republic of China as the dates on the bottom of the scarf say.

It is a jacquard with stars.

Happy Valentine's Day silkies! DH and I celebrated last night for a delicious meal at one of our city's trendiest and chicest restaurants! Wow the meal was out of this world. My little red trim accompanied me with the Urashima Taro mousseline!

Here are my GM asian silks and an assortment of twills and mousselines too. I hope you all have a fabulous day with your loved ones!

Love Sichuan, and GORGEOUS Daimyo!! I have a special fondness for Jacquard, and that is one I do not have, especially in such a great CW!! Wanna sell it????

Hahaha, Jahna! If you knew how long I searched for my Daimyo in exactly the right color and price you'd understand why I won't be responding right away! Thanks for the compliment -- I also love jacquard and was on an acquisition mission last year. They'll be on display at the end of the month during "COLLECTOR’S ITEMS: jacquards, plisses, non-fringe cashmere PMs" Week!
