Disclaimer: it's NOT a knot but this is the way I wear all my shawls [emoji23][emoji16]... My SOTD..Aux Portes du Palais[emoji171][emoji171]View attachment 3245136

Thank you for sharing you new treasures! The shawl is exquisite. One in your collection is always more fabulous than the next 😍. And the new phenomenal B. You have some serious style my friend! Love it all!

I am very excited for this week’s theme because I love trying out new and different knots with my scarves.

Today I took my new La Marche du Zambeze out for the first time. Like my pink Modernisme Tropical, this isn’t the type of CW I would usually go for. In fact, baby blue and yellow are two of my least favorite colors. But it matched with my Kelly so well that I had to try it on… and surprisingly loved it…. and of course it came home with me.

Naturally the day I decide to wear such a bright scarf, it snows.

Anyway, this knot is one of my favorites. I won’t buy a scarf if it doesn’t look good in this type of knot. It showcases a lot of the design whereas many of my other go to knots don’t, so I really enjoy it. And I love how the material drapes. Sadly, this knot doesn’t photograph well, but in real life it looks amazing.

Very Nice and elegant

My go to knots the majority of the time with my CSGM's. The second picture is really just a slight variation on the first look. Trying today with my new Boulevards that I am still contemplating on whether to keep or not...at the suggestion at the lovely lanit, I am going to try it this week with various colored tops as opposed to my usual black. I will add that I do like the strong contrast of the shawl with my black tops as well. (my post on this subject/shawl are on the ode to CSGM thread :smile1:)

This is beautiful on you!!

So perfect pirula...my twin! Stay warm :smile1:

Love the scarf and the knot. Stunning!

What a fun week! I love seeing the variety of go-to knots people have. It's very easy to see from the pics that people choose things that work quickly and easily for them, but also that suits their innate styling.

My own go-to knots and ties vary according to format. I tend to like to merge the boundaries a little between jewelry and scarves. For me, twillies are one of the most perfect formats for this and so I use rings and cadenas to make that blend. The first ]

You have such a great knack of using rings and such with your small format silks , I shall be copying you soon as I just found a cadena .
It doesn't feel as right on me as it looks on you , if that makes sense!

One of my go-to knots is the asymmetrical tie. I recently got one of MaiTai's tiny scarf rings and I was able to do this tie on a gavroche! Who knew? It's so small it works well on a 70 also, so I played around a bit. Asymmetrical tie with 90 (Cavaliers du Caucase), 70 (J'aime mon carré), and gavroche (ZP):

Love that tie too , it looks less formal and shows the best bits .

I hope you keep this shawl my dear Bova because I love it on you! You tie it so beautifully and effortlessly as you do with all your scarves too! Amazing and stunning as always [emoji7][emoji7]
Thank you so much eternallove4bag, I think I may keep it!
