I've been lurking here for the past week or two. Thoroughly enjoying Aline Honore week. Two things have struck me after seeing everyone's scarves and shawls.

First, there are so many that I didn't realize were by Aline Honore (which is why I love this thread - always learning something). Second, the variety of her work is quite amazing. Some artists have an identifiable signature or style - Annie Faivre and Alice Shirley are two that quickly come to my mind. But I'm still trying to figure out if Aline Honore has one. I haven't been able to track down any information about her. Does anyone know? Wish Hermes would post bios of the artists on their website.

Anyways, inspired by this week I went through and gathered my small collection of Aline Honore scarves. I'm not wearing them unfortunately because its CSGM weather here and I don't have any Aline Honore CSGMs (though I can't wait for Sieste to come out and a Femme aux Semelles is on my wish list).

So here is my little contribution for the week.:smile1:

Beautiful selection!

Scarf lovers, I must say this week is my favourite by a long way as I'm in awe of the designer .
I just love looking at them all and it's cheered me as I'm not feeling great with a chest infection and earache .

Yes, I love Aline Honoré's designs the most , though I own just one design .
Funnily enough it was the one I loathed on first sight , it seemed too bling to me then and I honestly wondered if Hermès had lost it .
Now La Femme aux Semelles du Vent is my favourite CSGM
Black for evening and Noisette for anywhere , anywhen.

Gorgeous frou frou!

Today I wore a less Christmassy CW View attachment 3184853 of La Vie du Grand Nord!

Love it moma!

Sorry I have absolutely no AH as of yet, but I'm really enjoying the eye candy! I have a secret yearning for a PetC twilly, but have to hunt one down sometime. I haven't worn too many scarves the last couple of weeks as I have been so busy foster failing kittens. And scarves and sweat pants aren't the best fashion companions! Next week I should have some to share though!

Completely off topic....but so very cute.

I love Coupons Indiens - it's the best "twofer" scarf ever

Dressy on Monday (I know it looks black, but it's a chocolate brown shell, boots, and Prada bag).

Casual on Tuesday with jeans.

Unless you're in the know like we are, you'd never guess these were the same scarf, right? This bias folds are SO different. I think we should all have one, for economic reasons if nothing else - it's like two scarves for the price of one! :D

And then today wearing La Femme 90cm in black/gold. I like this scarf the most when I pair it with turquoise blue.

Adorable, and never off topic as most of us seem to be as crazy about cats as silks!
Enjoy them they look such fun!

That Coupons is certainly amazing and I love it on you , never thought of looking for one but you've set me thinking !!
As for your FASDV it's the best ever, glorious in silk.

You asked me why only the one design for Aline Honoré although I love the designs.
Well, in a way what makes La Femme so perfect for me is the border .
The border dominates yet is in such harmony with the interior and I'm v happy with that ,whereas in the some of other designs I find the detailed border and interior lovely individually ,but don't feel that for me they work together.

It's crazy because this week I see that they look beautiful whatever . I need a new pair of glasses perhaps!

oh moma, I love this knot and have never worn it. I wonder if there is a way to keep it from falling back in the middle like a man's tie? The cascade look is so lovely.

BUNNY!!! I could just munch up that grey tabby's nose!! What an odd time for foster kittens....for me, I am a bottle feeding, sobbing nutcase in the spring-time but not now. You are an angel. Keep the sweat pants and buy a Target scarf if you feel yourself slipping....

Worn this scarf looks even more striking and gorgeous Hermes Nuttynut... So sorry about ur pic being used by an online seller!! That's just plain wrong and unethical!!! I am going to start watermarking my pics too! Thank u!

Wow!!! The matching bracelet is HEAVEN[emoji173]️[emoji173]️ lanit!!!

Fabulous sieste, I do hope they have CSGM or mousse next year.

Wow, you have 2 same cw! beautiful and wear it with good health!!

Beautifully tied, PbP!!Great CW, love it!

So pretty, PbP! And, may I add, no longer available on the H website...

very chic! Love the way you tied this!

Best silk ever, you are lucky to have found one!

Mine too , I'm not into coloured bags unless they are Rouge H , and look at it with those divine Siestes! That c'way slays me but the I'm waiting for the CSGM in hope the design will work better for me in that size.

Love your way of doubling to get a long drape, same price as a 140 and more flexibility !

That looks amazing on you, very pretty and fresh.

Gorgeous lanit!

Beautiful!

A fabulous match sparklelisa!

Stunning with your jacket!

Gorgeous Croisette!

Nice! The knot I just can't manage!

Looks like you did a great job to me!

Thank you so much for posting all these Honoré beauties. You have a magnificent collection, and whatever the theme, we know we can count on you to give us some great examples for the oogling.

Sparkles, what a dramatic look! I love it, especially with the Rouge H.

Very pretty with the reds and corals and another great jacket.

Less Christmassy, but no less lovely!

Oh dear, I hate to hear you're under the weather. Poor Frou Frou! I think it is so interesting that you love Honoré's designs the most and yet you only have La Femme. How did that happen? :thinkin: Love the designs on other people just not on yourself? Colorways never worked for you?

Glad you found just the right fit with La Femme though. I have the little sis of the black one. Love it.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.

This is divine on you Pocket. I just do not believe there is a bad cw for this design. We need all of them like Croisette!!

Have been very very lucky to pick up a fuchsia La Femme preloved earlier this year in a like new shape for a steal (half of current retail :graucho::yahoo::nuts:) Still can't believe it and it has very quick become a favorite of my small and humble collection!
Please share my joy with me :)

What a beauty with those vibrant corners. Joy shared for sure.

Good morning dearest silkies. Not Honoré, but a beauty n'est pas? I hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day!
