Your Balade en Berline is beautiful, LaenaLovely and the knot is perfect!

I've been lurking here for the past week or two. Thoroughly enjoying Aline Honore week. Two things have struck me after seeing everyone's scarves and shawls.

First, there are so many that I didn't realize were by Aline Honore (which is why I love this thread - always learning something). Second, the variety of her work is quite amazing. Some artists have an identifiable signature or style - Annie Faivre and Alice Shirley are two that quickly come to my mind. But I'm still trying to figure out if Aline Honore has one. I haven't been able to track down any information about her. Does anyone know? Wish Hermes would post bios of the artists on their website.

Anyways, inspired by this week I went through and gathered my small collection of Aline Honore scarves. I'm not wearing them unfortunately because its CSGM weather here and I don't have any Aline Honore CSGMs (though I can't wait for Sieste to come out and a Femme aux Semelles is on my wish list).

So here is my little contribution for the week.:smile1:

canuck, what a great Honore selection!

Scarf lovers, I must say this week is my favourite by a long way as I'm in awe of the designer .
I just love looking at them all and it's cheered me as I'm not feeling great with a chest infection and earache .

Yes, I love Aline Honoré's designs the most , though I own just one design .
Funnily enough it was the one I loathed on first sight , it seemed too bling to me then and I honestly wondered if Hermès had lost it .
Now La Femme aux Semelles du Vent is my favourite CSGM
Black for evening and Noisette for anywhere , anywhen.

canuck, what a great Honore selection!

Thank you Croisette. I just love this scarf....it can look so different depending on how it is folded. My DH got it for me while in Paris and initially it didn't make my heart sing, then voila, I started knotting and playing with it and now it is such a favorite. Your silk collection is quiet amazing!

Silkies....I took them out of their boxes!! My two Siestes in the same colorway!!!I need to find Greengoddess--- she is also crazy about this design and cw. I think this is the most beautiful silk I have bought in years!! Absolutely takes my breath away. Will wear again tomorrow!! And then, I had to show you how this cw matches Rouge H, my favorite Hermes color ever!!

This is just beautiful....enabling me with your lovely pictures. I am coveting this silk now. You look fantastic!

frou frou, both are just wonderful on you. Hope, you will feel better very soon, dear!

Thank you, LaenaLovely! I have the fuchsia one and it is a modern pattern with an
unusual border, I love it.

Worn this scarf looks even more striking and gorgeous Hermes Nuttynut... So sorry about ur pic being used by an online seller!! That's just plain wrong and unethical!!! I am going to start watermarking my pics too! Thank u!

The thing is, I knew I posted pics on the forum a few years ago when I purchased both. I couldn't find them on here, so I googled since many Hermes scarf photos on Google link to the Purse Forum. I found both, and the links took me to the reseller site.

In case anyone's wondering, they were on the instantluxe website. And they're both sold.

Some Oldies.... Andalousie and Pelages et Camouflage

Very nice Lanit Pelages and Camouflage is my fave Aline Honorédesign after LFASDV, wish I'd acquired one at the time .
And no way does your Farandole look too dressy .
However , I don't often wear mine with a scarf , prefer to let it speak on a plain dark silk shirt or something.

Croisette What great colours and designs !
You know, I always thought Vie du Fleuve and Rives Fertiles were one and the same , so I was surprised to see it thinking it here , of course they are similar but so different in detail.

Not on theme, but I just tried a friendship knot today (new to the silk world) and wanted to share. I def need practice but excited to try a new knot!View attachment 3184559

Love your knot with that gloriously coloured silk.

Mine too , I'm not into coloured bags unless they are Rouge H , and look at it with those divine Siestes! That c'way slays me but the I'm waiting for the CSGM in hope the design will work better for me in that size.
Love your way of doubling to get a long drape, same price as a 140 and more flexibility !

Very pretty with the reds and corals and another great jacket.

Today I wore a less Christmassy CW View attachment 3184853 of La Vie du Grand Nord!

Less Christmassy, but no less lovely!

Oh dear, I hate to hear you're under the weather. Poor Frou Frou! I think it is so interesting that you love Honoré's designs the most and yet you only have La Femme. How did that happen? :thinkin: Love the designs on other people just not on yourself? Colorways never worked for you?

Glad you found just the right fit with La Femme though. I have the little sis of the black one. Love it.
