Silkies....I took them out of their boxes!! My two Siestes in the same colorway!!!I need to find Greengoddess--- she is also crazy about this design and cw. I think this is the most beautiful silk I have bought in years!! Absolutely takes my breath away. Will wear again tomorrow!!And then, I had to show you how this cw matches Rouge H, my favorite Hermes color ever!!

I found a couple photos I posted on the forum way back when I first acquired this and the GM cashmere. I'll post more current pics tomorrow.
As a side note: Watermark your photos!! Before I watermarked these, they were stolen from me and used by an online seller without permission.

Silver patinas are lovely, aren't they? Lanit, if I were you, I'd wear the heck out of that farandole necklace -- It's dressy in your mind, but I think it would be wonderful to wear it casually. You're chic enough to carry it off without a second thought. :okay: Tennis bracelets were like that -- diamonds worn with sport outfits.

Not on theme, but I just tried a friendship knot today (new to the silk world) and wanted to share. I def need practice but excited to try a new knot!
I've been lurking here for the past week or two. Thoroughly enjoying Aline Honore week. Two things have struck me after seeing everyone's scarves and shawls.
First, there are so many that I didn't realize were by Aline Honore (which is why I love this thread - always learning something). Second, the variety of her work is quite amazing. Some artists have an identifiable signature or style - Annie Faivre and Alice Shirley are two that quickly come to my mind. But I'm still trying to figure out if Aline Honore has one. I haven't been able to track down any information about her. Does anyone know? Wish Hermes would post bios of the artists on their website.
Anyways, inspired by this week I went through and gathered my small collection of Aline Honore scarves. I'm not wearing them unfortunately because its CSGM weather here and I don't have any Aline Honore CSGMs (though I can't wait for Sieste to come out and a Femme aux Semelles is on my wish list).
So here is my little contribution for the week.
First, there are so many that I didn't realize were by Aline Honore (which is why I love this thread - always learning something). Second, the variety of her work is quite amazing. Some artists have an identifiable signature or style - Annie Faivre and Alice Shirley are two that quickly come to my mind. But I'm still trying to figure out if Aline Honore has one. Andalousie has always reminded me of a beautiful courtyard fountain I saw in the Marina district in San Francisco - no doubt the fountain I saw was inspired by the real thing in Spain.
