Morning Scarfies, ready for some eyeball searing brights? Here is my preloved Beloved India 90. So bright it makes me jump whenever I catch sight of myself in the mirror. In fact have just taken it off, cannot cope with it before my first cup of tea! View attachment 3016911

In fact, so bright it has knocked the dog out.

(Dear Scarf Moderators, this is still on topic, honest, not just random pet pic: it shows the dangers of over-bright silks).

Beautiful Brights..

Your dog is adorable! I feel like him after seeing all these wonderful bright colourful scarves and shawls posted this week.

Love this said:
Pirula[/B]! CdF is such a wonderful design!

Thank you my dears!

Welcome honeylocks! I'm new too. Silly SA to frown at you, but hey that's how we learn. We're sisters on the Bateau Fleuri, but not twins, I have the gray/black colorway. It is truly a beautiful scarf. Love it in your colorway! And what an awesome original idea to tie your scarf into a braid. How clever you are!

So I am wearing a non-Hermes scarf today :police::police::police::police: call the cops. It's a lovely peach chiffon with flowers and butterflies that a dear friend brought back from Italy for me. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a thread modeling any special scarves we have that are not Hermes? For example I have a fabulous Carolina Herrera "Zodiac" that's just sublime. Could be fun. If you agree I'll start one. If not then that's okay too!

PS: Hmmm...clearly my multi-quoting skills aren't as up to par as I thought. Sigh....
Yes? Okay great! I will start it this afternoon then when I get home.

Wow! Thank you for mentioning Tango Tosca's thread, I had missed it somehow. Just found it and I am on :cloud9:. I think I'll be there for awhile....

By all means, please feel free to show your non-Hermes items and scarves, but such a thread belongs in the general wardrobe section and not in Hermes.

There is an active thread there to which I encourage you to contribute:

Thanks.

Dear Croisette,

Lovely! Twins on Grande Tenue! I wouldn't mind being twins on your Eperons d'Or either! :D.

Thank you, Hat Trick, nice we are twins!

My dear Scarfies, not only do I like bright scarves, but I love bright clothing and shoes too!:sunshine: The brighter the better!! My logic is 'if the scarf isn't already bright enough, add a bright shirt to the mix!' Wearing my matching JP pants today and Voyage en Etoffes.

Your are right, Vitamina, all together is stunning!

A few more brights to share:

Voyage en Etoffes
Les Jeux d' Hermes
Graff Twilly modeled by my adorable assistant :smile1:.

Love your scarves and your cutie twilly-model, so sweet!

Oh my goodness, I am in awe of your collection, Croisette! My favorite is the the Peuple du Vents, but they are all beauties.

I hope to jump in and start posting some pictures soon. I absolutely HATE my neck (hence my love of scarves, lol), so I'm having a hard time getting any flattering (or at least not terrible) shots. Also, this forum has inspired me to record my colorways. I tend to just tear off the tags and not look back, but now I wish I could share the "proper" colors instead of saying, "My red this," or "My blue that." I will definitely be more careful with future purchases.

Thank you MmeDumas, your pics are desired.

A feast for the eyes! Lovely brights. Especially like your Grand Tenue.

Never tire of seeing your scarves. Gorgeous collection of brights!

Thank you so much, dear Canuck!

Dear scarfies and other people,

since this ist my favourite thread I will use it to introduce myself:

"Hello, my name is Honeylocks and I am a scarf addict"
It all started around 2006 when I saw "Beloved India" in a shop window (not a hermes shop). I was drawn to it, saw the price tag and moved on.
Last winter I watched "25 was to tie a scarf" on youtube, which led me to MaiTai.
Some weeks later I had the chance to go to an Hermes-store. Was unprepared and asked for a design from 2 years ago, the SA just frowned at me :-(
By now, I got what I wanted in retail from the internet (always an adventure, learned about import taxes and how to spot fakes) and some new ones (via shop and hermes.com). Oh yes, the slippery orange slope......

I love the art, the colours, the texture of the silk on my skin, the versatility and playfulness, all the ways to wear them. They pimp everyday things so easily.:p

I was reading through many threads in the past months, besides this my favourite ones are Hermes with cheap outfits and Tango Tostca's scarf circus. You are all such an inspiration here, I love to see your pictures and appreciate the kind atmosphere in this forum.

So let me share my piece of bright: Bateau Fleuri in green and blue with fishies and birdies.

And I know I am late for Julie Abadie-week, but I tried to braid Ciels Byzantines into my hair.
Welcome HoneyLocks! Your green Bateau is amazing and your braided Ciel is lovely on you!

Love your brights and your assistant is an adorable model:smile1:

Thank you, dear CBL! My sweet little assistant has definitely has had his fair share of Hermes scarf exposure!

Vitamina, you wear these brights so well! But I am really smitten by that darling face on your assistant...so sweet!

Thank you for those sweet words, my dear Kate! The only time lil' O stays still is when he has some form of clothing on him (in this case a Twilly) or he is sleeping!

Thank you, Hat Trick, nice we are twins!

Thank you, dear Pocketbook Pup!

Love Voyage En Ettofes, and your twilly model is adorable

Thank you, dear Scholastican! VeE is a such a fun design to me. It gives such varied looks depending on how you knot it or what you wear it with!

This is as bright as I go. My new maxi twilly les cles. View attachment 3018640

Pocketbook Pup, I love the pops of pink in your Maxi Twilly. I have a Urashima Taro mousseline in similar colors and find it does so much to brighten the skin.

Hello to all the "scarfies" here - WOW, I cannot stop logging in to admire ALL the bright scarves this week and I have to join in the fun with Henry d'Origny's Cheval Fleuri 90 mousse line in orange worned in the most ordinary way today. :woohoo:

I can't remember if I commented on this but my goodness, it is gorgeous!!!! It GLOWS!!! Like a lovely ember!!!
