Oh, Pirula!! Could you teach me how to multi-quote??? Not being able to do so has been a terrible hindrance. I'd feel freer about commenting if I didn't take up so much real estate.

Now...back to topic....everyone looks lovely and bright to me on this dreary, chilly day.

Will send you a PM. [emoji1]

Hi pocketbook pup! Thank you! Well yes technically they're all "new", but this was my second one soooo... No? Lol! It's been 6-8 weeks of scarf, scarf, scarf. Hence why I'm sunning myself on Ban Island.

The ring is Mai Tai's "grande" mother of pearl, and yes that's her waterfall necklace. Can't say enough nice things about both!

What a beautiful day in Hermes!

Gorgey gorge!

Looking gorgeous silkies! Thank you all for the warm compliments last week. My bright today - La Farbique Les Rubans.

Is this bright enough to play??

Bright enough for me to swoooon...

Good Morning Silkies,

Welcome to a new week and forgive my absence the last week. I can see I have missed 20 pages of Delight!!

This week, we celebrate BRIGHT scarves. Some of us Neutral lovers might find it difficult to partake, but remember, all H silk is welcome!!

Even though I have many rich, saturated silks, I do not find most of them "bright." But this one, to me, is my brightest scarf!! Casques et Pluetts with fire orange!!

Sparkles, can I ask which scarf you paired with your Casques et pluetts last week? I looooved that doubled up look.

Hello everyone,

I have been incredibly busy and, despite wearing several bright scarves (mostly to brighten up this dreadful weather), only took photos of what I wore today. I will try to come back to catch up on all the lovely scarves tomorrow! All of you is always such an inspiration.

This is my Pique Fleuri de Provence (I get a kick of knowing I bought it in Houston, which is as far away from Provence culturally and geographically as it can be).

What I wanted to share is the draping, which tends to show well on darker and brighter scarves. I usually drape it on me, pin the folds in place, take the scarf off and iron the folds in place. If one is adventurous, a light spraying or spray starch will make the folds rather structured.

Lyseiki, this is a beautiful color of orange! I am always on the lookout for a 90 cm mousseline. I wish H would bring them back into production again!

Thank you for the starch tip, AnnaE! I love PFdP. It is the only 90 cm that I own (my cw) that is a neutral! I have tried your cw too and loved it!

Ahhh, my dear Croisette! You are rolling out the best of the best! I adore each and everyone. You know, my friend, it was your Marwari pictures that drove me to purchasing the purple cw last year! Your picture still makes me smile.:tender: It captures the turquoise and vibrant purple so well. I love your CDC that you paired with it. Now, your de la Mer au Ciel is having the same effect on me! :loveeyes:

Dear scarfies and other people,

since this ist my favourite thread I will use it to introduce myself:

"Hello, my name is Honeylocks and I am a scarf addict"
It all started around 2006 when I saw "Beloved India" in a shop window (not a hermes shop). I was drawn to it, saw the price tag and moved on.
Last winter I watched "25 was to tie a scarf" on youtube, which led me to MaiTai.
Some weeks later I had the chance to go to an Hermes-store. Was unprepared and asked for a design from 2 years ago, the SA just frowned at me :-(
By now, I got what I wanted in retail from the internet (always an adventure, learned about import taxes and how to spot fakes) and some new ones (via shop and hermes.com). Oh yes, the slippery orange slope......

I love the art, the colours, the texture of the silk on my skin, the versatility and playfulness, all the ways to wear them. They pimp everyday things so easily.:p

I was reading through many threads in the past months, besides this my favourite ones are Hermes with cheap outfits and Tango Tostca's scarf circus. You are all such an inspiration here, I love to see your pictures and appreciate the kind atmosphere in this forum.

So let me share my piece of bright: Bateau Fleuri in green and blue with fishies and birdies.

And I know I am late for Julie Abadie-week, but I tried to braid Ciels Byzantines into my hair.
