You just have to find the right orange pocketbook pup, or one with a strong accent color that suits you. For me, the tangerine-y orange of the RvRG coupled with the accents of strong blue, purple, and dark red makes it flattering on me. Or at least not "bleah!"

In my CdF I think I can wear three of the four corners well. The mustardy yellow corner hell mais non. But that's okay.

Thanks Pirula. I'll keep trying! Haha

I had an absolutely fabulous time in DC.

Pirula darling, a gentle reminder that I think we agreed to try to write the entire name of the scarf. Not only for the newcomers, but even *I* can't remember all the abbreviations!!! :wtf: Think of it as instruction for us slowpokes!:upsidedown::upsidedown: Thank you!

Oh Moma thank you for this. I'm a late comer too so I didn't know. It's a nice idea though. I am usually confused enough as it is.

We did? I missed that but I am SO glad to hear it because I am lost half the time reading these threads as to what scarf design they're talking about. So I apologize for missing that and I thank you for pointing it out to me. So much better.

By RvRG I meant Rendez vous Rive Gauge. And CdF was Coup de Fouet.

Gorgeous sparklelisa! I love bright pops of orange in a scarf like that!

I'll get the ball rolling with a crossover. Brazil MT in menthe. That's definitely a pretty saturated and "in your face" kind of green. :smile1: Very "springy".

Bunnycat that is one of the loveliest, unusual greens I've ever seen. Love how you're wearing it as well. Must remember to ask how you did it if I ever get a maxi twilly.

Good Morning Silkies,

Welcome to a new week and forgive my absence the last week. I can see I have missed 20 pages of Delight!!

This week, we celebrate BRIGHT scarves. Some of us Neutral lovers might find it difficult to partake, but remember, all H silk is welcome!!

Even though I have many rich, saturated silks, I do not find most of them "bright." But this one, to me, is my brightest scarf!! Casques et Pluetts with fire orange!!

I love this orange sunshine scarf. Bright and classy at the same time - like the new Mrs Clooney I suppose....😉
This is an interesting challenge, I have never thought of the distinction between bright and rich colours, I think my scarves fall mainly into the latter category but we shall see....good excuse for some quality rummage time in my silk drawers...oh no, that sounds a bit wrong...I do mean the drawer where I keep my silk scarves..

OH! Coup de Fouet! [Bangs head] I love that scarf. I can never remember the name. Thank you!

Hello lovely scarfies!

I have thoroighly enjoyed seeing your sumptuous silks, and how you have turned them into wearable art :smile1: I hope it is ok to join in this week's bright theme. The brightest from my collection are both in the MT format - KACHINAS in bouton d'or/mysotis/vert and rose/vert/bleu :sunshine:

Bright Scarf week couldn't have been more perfectly timed - it is a grey, cold and rainy day here. A little Flamingo Party shawl to add some cheer, colour (and warmth)!:smile1:
