Here's a 70 scarf tied to reveal the name and the brand.:p:p:p: I know I'm a goofball. Am actually wearing it like a normal person.

How lovely momasaurus. I'd been eyeing this design and it's so fun to see on. Not at all what I would have thought! You look fabulous! Can't imagine the patience it took to show the title just so. Brava!

Dear all,

When I saw the SOTD thread roll over to a new one, I was elated. A fresh beginning—a fresh chance to keep up. But you gals and guys are so on top of this! Heck, AnnaE goes off on vacation and STILL posts amazing scarf shots (I'm needing that red Maxi Twilly!!!!!). And then there's bunnycat with that gorgeous new bandana (I want...). Indeed, all of you are posting all these luscious images of scarves and knots. Plus this week is my favorite theme—I've long been a fan of 70s, GMs, mousselines, and now the Maxi Twilly, so I'm getting all kinds of inspiration.

I've been wearing mousselines a great deal this week and last. First, there's the Rosée changeant stole that shifts from silver to gold . . . And then my latest mousseline find, a GM Brides de Gala Finesse in a blue/purple color. Thanks for letting me share!

What loveliness! Love your whole outfit in both pics too.

Pirula, it was AnnaE who posted a picture and instructions on modifying MaiTai's flower knot to get the little corners to stick out of the flower. I don't know how to copy the actual link to her post, but I copied and pasted her instructions below...good luck!

The idea is to create a flower-like knot with two 'leaves' that are formed by the scarf ends.

If you google MaiMai flower knot gavroche, you will find a tutorial that is done better than I ever could do it. Complete all the steps.

Here is the tricky part -- take the tied ends (that are integrated in the flower) and untie them. (I don't untie all the way...if they have been in a double knot, leave them tied only once) Then tug at them gently until you can pull them out from the 'flower' and shape them into the 'leaves'. Voilà!

The flower should stay in place despite the untied ends because of the way the knot works, internal tension holds it in place.

Bova, thanks so much for this, and Anna E too, I was wondering what the modified flower knot was. I know all about internal tension - what with a teen son and all😉

Shamelessly hopping on the C'est la fete 70cm bandwagon.

This is one of the coolest scarves around, I love it. I see it always resells at a premium and I can understand why.
Ooooh, this is stunning on you! The colors and how you pair with your necklace&sweater, and everything! Pain La Shar Pawnee always catches my eyes every time it is reissued. Yours is also adorable, especially in this cw.

Thank you for the compliments Cherryblossum.
Happy Birthdy bunnycat!! Chloe is so cute. She almost looks like a kitten still. :)

Wow!! Looking so amazing... And that contrast hem on the BdG mousse... Wow! :)

Love the colors of that "flower"! :)

Yes! I wish I could find the same fabric of those AG jeans still. Have you been able to? Ok, I will def make an effort to wear that Circus for you :). Usually my scarves marinate for a bit. Lol. ;)

Twins on the Tiffany blue converse :).

So in addition to my RS problem.. Lol ;). I might have a slight Chuck problem too. Hahahaha.

Purple, pink, brown, Tiffany blue, peach, and a green to match my malachite B. :). I might have a navy on the way too... Lol ;)

Love this pic of all your Converse, the Tiffany blue are divine! I have pink, red and high top black but I must admit my feet are not Converse friendly, I don't find them that comfortable...never mind, I must get them out and wear them!!

Here is my indigo pontu, from 2013. It was requested by Croisette a while ago.
Hand rolled stitches are with orange thread.

Cherryb, that pointu is absolutely gorgeous, I adore that shade of blue😍😍😍

Apparently I was having a Clic Clac a Pois kind of day... My 70. And I also had Clic Clac twillies on B from Monday. This should've been my SOTD on Saturday or Sunday for a crossover on themes. :). Julia Abadie and a 70 format. Love it with my Gris Fonce CDC! :)

Sorry, my mirror pics just don't show the colors very well at all. So up close pics for the navy, brown, and black colors of scarf. :).

What a fabulous outfit, you are the coolest girl! Love your multi coloured nails and your pussycat pumps -Charlotte Olympia??

Thank you for the birthday wishes jp_536, CB, MYH, Croisette, Bova and everyone!

MYH- the other box goes in the belt thread... :graucho: (And is one of the other reasons I was having such a hard time deciding on color in the Hapi thread because I knew the belt was waiting for me. I did end up with my first love in anemone/capucine GHW and its on its way! I was truly spoiled this birthday with H!)

Bunnycat, what a wonderful choice of belt. I am sure you will find it very useful and beautiful.

:laugh::laugh: Or take those guys with you to the H men's dept, where you will find many lovely things, including some gavroches perhaps (in my boutique they are considered men's pocket squares).

Good plan Moma! I really like your Glitch...as though I need yet more temptation. Ban Island is the least of my worries, we are looking at Ban Penitentiary with no time off for good behaviour, at least my jumpsuit will be orange...

Moma that is v clever, I like it!

Well , off topic but had to share with my scarf buddies my euro moussie purchases:

Point d'orgue in pinks (140) with wonderful fuschia hem bought in Milan and

Charmante des animaux in stole format - mostly green bought at FSH

Oh what loveliness...

Very clever!

Thanks, scarf1, and MAJOR CONGRATS on your moussies! Wow.

Thanks also, JRTgal.:smile1:

Lovely colors with the blue shirt. Definitely elevates it to another level.

Thank you, Moirai. I should own stock in Gap. I love their solid color tops for showcasing the scarves!:D

No, no, no, Pirula dear. I have the patience of a 4-year old. It was an accident, then I tweaked it a bit. When you return from Ban Island, start searching for one! Such a fun piece.

And thank you, Pudfish. I may be joining you in Ban Penitentiary. My boat out to the island was sooooo slow, I jumped off too many times.

So lovely Bova, and I love that your lipstick matches the fuchsia of the scarf!😍😍
Thank you pudfish!

I want everything!!! Especially that Gris Fonce CDC!!! STUNNING!!!!

You know my matchy-matchy heart is THUMPING WILDLY!!! A most awesome outfit. Love the bracelet that also echoes the polka-dot look! And the shoes!! (As if the rainbow of Converse didn't kill me.) I'm going to see you on the street someday and rush screaming into your arms. Just warning you.:laugh::laugh:

You are cracking me up...yes, bum rush me any time!! :). Lol ;) Just make sure I don't fall over if I'm in rockstuds and crash down on my B :)

JP, I love your Converse picture! How cute is that! I think you and I would have soooo much fun shopping together! ha! You know, I can't find the AG jeans in the same colorful colors anymore either. I see Shopbop has a pair in white. I am happy that I bought so many colors when I did. I wonder why they stopped manufacturing all those great colors? I remember how popular they were. I am so excited to see your mod pic of Circus!:smile1:

Yes, we would get into so much trouble shopping together!! Hahahaha!! :)

I've got a slew of colors as well! :). But my favorite material like the blue, i only have that one and a green pair. The other colors are stretchier. Wish I had more of the others :)

Mee-WoW, JP! You look fabulous from head to toe! Your CO kitty flats are sooo cute! Love!

Thank you my dear!!! :)

Oh Wowzers!! Love the green in charmante!! And that's the pink PdO I've been eyeing online. Please post mod pics!! :)

Yes! Get them out and wear them!!! I'm debating if I need a red pair too.... Show me yours and I'm sure I'll be enabled. Lol ;)

☺️ :blushing: thank you dear Pudfish!!! :). Yes, they're CO! :)

Wow, we all have been quite active recently. Going to try to comment as much as I can, please forgive me if I have missed anyone.

Cherryblossum, oh my! This is exquisite. I regret not buying that one. I would love, love, love to see you wear it so I could live vicariously through you!

Ha moma, this is so funny! I know people who go out of their way to show off the brand. I do really like how the bolduc shows on the second photo.

Gorgeous, scarf 1! Must be great for the summer. I would love to see you wear them. I too buy a lot when traveling and enjoy the memory of the trip when wearing the scarves.

Bova, thanks so much for this, and Anna E too, I was wondering what the modified flower knot was. I know all about internal tension - what with a teen son and all😉

Hehe Pudfish you are so funny :p Did you attempt the knot? I am sure it turned out beautifully.

So in addition to my RS problem.. Lol ;). I might have a slight Chuck problem too. Hahahaha.

Oh wow, jp!!! I have never owned a pair... maybe I should get in on this. I never really realized they come in all these colors!! Looks so good. Love your 'crossover' scarf also.

I ran an incredibly hot 10k race this morning, and I have been just wearing shorts and a t-shirt while periodically taking a cold shower since then... NYC summers are rough! So no scarves for me today.

AnnaE—you ran a 10K race today? I'm in awe. It was so hot in NYC (for me) by noon, my only recourse was hitting the bar . . .

Thank you everyone who chimed in on the mousselines: momasaurus, vitamina h, jp 536, MYH, and cherry blossom. Truth is, they are so soft and fabulous, a person doesn't need to do anything to make them look special. Maybe that's why I now have a lovely collection . . . :p

I LOVE :heart::heart: the J'aime mon carre, momasaurus! This is the one I have, which is one of my favorite scarves of all time, and I must soon replicate your first knot! It's perfect.

Wow! Congrats on the TEN K!!! Geez, I can barely run for 5 minutes before I'm huffin' and puffin'. Lol ;)

Thank you. Yes, you do need a pair!! Everyone should have at least one!! :)
