I enjoyed looking at all of your collections and wanted to share my "baby" collection. I bought my first scarf in June and I can't stop.

I have dark blonde hair and light eyes with fairly neutral coloring. I've taken dozens of those online quiz things and I have always fallen into both warm and cool categories. I have determined that my coloring is muted though, so brights tend to swallow me up. My scarf collection reflects the colors that can be found in my wardrobe, except I fear I may have made one misstep so far with the Ciels Byzantins. It is beautiful but I don't feel quite "right" in it and I can't put my finger on why that is. Colors too clear maybe? I'll have to keep playing with it I guess.

Lovely collection! Thanks for sharing!

Such a beautiful collection!!!

Thank you!
Prettykitty: beautiful beautiful!

I really admire the collections that are so focused and restrained. Mine is all over the place. Not that that's a bad thing. I just really admire the disciplined collections.

Thank you. However, I wish I could claim discipline. There are so many fall scarves I would like to have that I shudder to think about the size of my collection this time next year. I also am having a hard time keeping it to one colorway per design. I really want another De la Mer, and the anthracite Phoenix, and, and...

What a lovely collection you have started prettykitty!

Thank You!

Beautiful collection! I had not seen that CW of the les aisles. Sounds like it suits you perfectly!

Thank you. I had originally written off Les Ailes because I didn't like any of the colorways, so I was surprised when the lady pulled this one out of the drawer. It never showed up on the website at all. It goes wonderfully with gray.

On theme with our color week, I picked up two new goodies in Boston yesterday...as many of you know I am often drawn to very saturated colors. I am not sure what kind of "color" person that makes me, but I know I often do not look best in paler, pastel shades...I wish I did!!

I loved this little Minuit gavroche and very unexpectedly decided on the purple version of Couvertures in 140cm silk. This is my second 140cm, and I am so happy with it...although I am still getting used to the tying of this format!

U r really good at tying scarves. I only have few H scarves but I only wear them 1 or 2 times because I can't tie those scarves as nice as u lol

Like pocketbook pup, I was lucky enough to be able to go to the re-opening of the Boston store yesterday. My DD and I enjoyed a wonderful day together and were so happy to meet pocketbook pup! My first tPF meet! We have such lovely people on this and other threads :smile1:

My outfit as I headed out the door for the day...my purchase posts to follow LOL!!:graucho:

Bova you looked so lovely in your Tyger. Love how you knotted it too. Your new beauties are lovely. Love the Minuit, and boy those 140 silks are really catching my eye. You and I can wear very similar colors. So glad you had a great day and met Pocketbook pup!

Wonderful choices! And what a great way to tie your 140!

These strong colors are gorgeous on you! I especially love the third knot, suits you very well :)
Thank you so much thingumypoppy! I do love them!

These are wonderful on you. Great colours. The Minuit is cute and the Couvertures ties beautifully. Congrats!
Thank you dear canuckbaglover! I tried on your Sieste and Collection Imperials, but neither worked for me...they are so very pretty though!!

Thank you casseyelsie, have you looked at Maitais Picturebook website? That is where I learned so many different ways to tie scarves :smile1:

Thank you pirula! We did have a fun day, maybe someday when I visit my DS in Washington, DC we can venture to the DC store and wear our similarly colored scarves!! ;)

Beautiful collection. I have done my colors too and it never comes out quite right. When I did the vein test that was suggested here I swear my veins are Colvert. One minute they look blue the next they look teal.

Me too.
Update from the Boston store opening: it was lovely. The highlight was meeting dear Bova. The store is now two stories and reminds me of the George v store only ours is a little bigger I think. My black box Kelly returned from its spa visit looking amazing. No black birkin for me this visit but my time has to be coming soon. There were lots of other bags including some beautiful Lindy. View attachment 3075245View attachment 3075246There were no new fall scarves from my last visit. No scarf books. I did have a mimosa and a wonderful visit and I picked up two new to me scarves. Twins with scarf1 on jardin anglais that I admired from her post earlier this week. Twins with HermesNutty I think on the blue nuit les chemins secrets. And I picked up a mors ring to try out.

You look lovely. I would love to be able to check out the Boston store. I lived there for about 10 years, but I was in my 20's and Hermes was not even on my radar back then.

Meg, I love the idea that your veins appear colvert! So funny even if it's true. Lucky you!
