You really do so well with the Mors ring froufrou, I may decide to give it another try as you suggested...I did get the permabrass as it really is best for my collection!Rainy Friday , a good reason to get out a shot of orange with the Mors .
Believe it or not this Twilly gets more positive comments from strangers out and about in London than the rest of my collection put together .
And it cost nothing.
Very dressed down , no makeup, my favourite way to be.
I AM ORANGE
What a lovely collection you have started prettykitty!I enjoyed looking at all of your collections and wanted to share my "baby" collection. I bought my first scarf in June and I can't stop.
I have dark blonde hair and light eyes with fairly neutral coloring. I've taken dozens of those online quiz things and I have always fallen into both warm and cool categories. I have determined that my coloring is muted though, so brights tend to swallow me up. My scarf collection reflects the colors that can be found in my wardrobe, except I fear I may have made one misstep so far with the Ciels Byzantins. It is beautiful but I don't feel quite "right" in it and I can't put my finger on why that is. Colors too clear maybe? I'll have to keep playing with it I guess.
Oh you are so sweet pocketbookpup! Meeting you was the highlight of the day for my daughter and I as well! It really was a fun day, and your new additions are truly beautiful...we are twins on Chemins Secrets, I can see now how wonderful both of these will look with your coloring!Update from the Boston store opening: it was lovely. The highlight was meeting dear Bova. The store is now two stories and reminds me of the George v store only ours is a little bigger I think. My black box Kelly returned from its spa visit looking amazing. No black birkin for me this visit but my time has to be coming soon. There were lots of other bags including some beautiful Lindy. View attachment 3075245View attachment 3075246There were no new fall scarves from my last visit. No scarf books. I did have a mimosa and a wonderful visit and I picked up two new to me scarves. Twins with scarf1 on jardin anglais that I admired from her post earlier this week. Twins with HermesNutty I think on the blue nuit les chemins secrets. And I picked up a mors ring to try out.
It would have been wonderful to meet you as well bostonjetset! Hopefully another time in the futureI'm so sad I didn't get to attend and meet you and Bova! One day our paths may eventually cross! Glad to hear the opening was fun and the store is nice. I have to make it there someday soon to check it out but, since I work in Worcester, the only day I can get there would be on a Saturday. LOVE your Jardin Anglais!!! Such a gorgeous scarf. And you got a Mors ring!!!! I'm jealous haha.
Moma--I couldn't resist and I haven't even seen all the colorways IRL! Ack!!!Oh, that Hippopolis is going to haunt me.... And you have two already! Quick work.![]()
Beautiful collection! I had not seen that CW of the les aisles. Sounds like it suits you perfectly!I enjoyed looking at all of your collections and wanted to share my "baby" collection. I bought my first scarf in June and I can't stop.

Yeah twin! I also love the chemins on you!!
Ooohh!! Love everything! That cw of de la mer is on its way to me! Finally! And loving Colvert K! Every time I see it!!
On theme with our color week, I picked up two new goodies in Boston yesterday...as many of you know I am often drawn to very saturated colors. I am not sure what kind of "color" person that makes me, but I know I often do not look best in paler, pastel shades...I wish I did!!
I loved this little Minuit gavroche and very unexpectedly decided on the purple version of Couvertures in 140cm silk. This is my second 140cm, and I am so happy with it...although I am still getting used to the tying of this format!
Thank you so much pocketbook pup!Oh I love them! That's a wonderful friendship knot. They both look fabulous on you!
