Such beautiful groupings this week. They have made for lovely browsing when I borrowed the time this busy week.

This past 12 months, I've hit the accelerator on my infant of a collection, born in the late 90s and so, my baby has grown into toddlerhood. When I see it laid out, none of it makes much sense to me colorwise. I buy the patterns I love. But I am particularly drawn to blues and especially turquoise. Or orange! Was is all the visits to HoJo's for a clam roll and coffee cone in my youth????
Lovely collection! I"m with you on the clam rolls. I think you're right - our love of orange might have begun way back then....

Even though I obsess over scarves and pictures of scarves, I would fail any ID test. May I ask what is the cute white and green scarf with ribbons and "and Danemark" writing? Also the scarf you have in two CWs: with a clock, a ladder, and mosaics?

Thanks!

Thank you my dear Pirula!

I do think Super H would be a very special gift from your son; it's such a fun scarf. And if your 15 y/o does not want/have to spend on the 70, it is in gavroche this year!! [Croisette has the gavroche in the same c/w as my 70 shown here and there are loads of other fun colors available!].

The horse head scarf is called Panache et Fantaisie. It is a Grygkar pattern from 1959 and I don't think [but not sure] that it has ever been re-released. This one was actually a "rescue" scarf from the Bay. I got it for a steal because it is 56 years old and has some slight stains from being folded so long. I thought, since it was not very expensive, it would make a good throw around scarf when I want a bit of H but don't want to worry about weather and such. It actually still has the Lord & Taylor label on it as well; they used to sell H way back in the 50s! [long gone are those days! haha]

So last night I showed my son the Minuit au Faubourg gavroche online. I knew he'd think it was the coolest. His response, in true adolescent succinct but erudite fashion: "Whoah." The 15 year old equivalent of praise indeed. I think chances are good I may get one for Christmas!

Jingle bells. [emoji320][emoji319]

One of the top colors I believed I could never wear. Thanks Hermes color genius!

Also, inauguration of mors ring. [emoji5]️. Happy Friday everyone!
Perfection Pirula...I still kick myself for not getting that scarf recently!! Plus, inspired by you, bunnycat, froufrou and others I finally ordered a mors ring and then swiftly sent it back. I loved it, but I just struggled with it too much and didn't see myself using it often enough, but seeing your photo...hmmmm:smile1:

Pirula Welcome to the orange /Mors side :D
Isn't it fun?
I like it most with 70cms and twillies, and all over pattern with contest hem seems to work best so your Rendezvous is just perfect.
Mors and 90cm can look very sophisticated and eye catching and it's a great look for more formal events IMO

Bova I'm sure you would have used it , do reconsider !
I find it one of those things that some days feels and looks wrong, others days just the perfect touch and giving your scarves a whole new look and scope.
Mine is permabrass which gives a slightly different vibe and may work better with your jewel toned collection………..

Beautiful! Love those flamingos so much. Your outfit also looks comfortable, cool, and chic!:cool::cool:

My collection is much smaller than most of you lovely scarfies and it is pretty much all over the place as far as the primary color of each piece goes. As such, I was going to sit this week out. However, I figured even a small contribution would be fun and I discovered that one color that pops up in several of my scarves is yellow...at least as an accent color. Here are a few of my collection featuring yellow.

Small but perfectly formed , yellow accents are the best!

Wearing one of my "colors" a couple days ago...Tours De Cles twilly in Noir/Fuchsia/Vert with a scarf ring.

How chic! Less is more , I just love this .
My twilly wearing is with Mors ring which I love, but this gold scarf ring looks lovely too .Can you share which one it is?

Funny you should say this sparkle...about what colors we love vs what colors look best on us. Which those can be very different. Lol. ;). As it is for me... I love orange! But it doesn't always work great for me. And I know whenever I wear red, I always get compliments. I guess it complements my skin tone. But I don't typically buy red scarves!! Hahaha!! Never drawn to them. And surprisingly last week when I was at the boutique, I thought I would break out of the norm and actually go for a red Confessions!! I wanted the turquoise and the lavender cws, but the lavender didn't wow me as I thought it would. I would've bought both the turquoise and the red but I was being good. Kept it to just one cw that day. Lol ;). Can't say it'll be one cw by the end of the season. But for now. Lol ;). And here she is: (Very tonal today. My thing. Lol. My uniform.) I know, a white shirt wouldn't made the scarf pop but I wasn't about drawing too much attention to the scarf today. :)

Confessions is such a whimsical fun design and I adore it in red.
I think I prefer wearing Hermès designs that have a less formal design, and although I love the awesomely beautiful designs this season I know they will stay in their boxes .This is one to wear and celebrate! You've got me thinking hard.
the SA I spoke to recently said it was her favourite this season .

When I look at this I see lagoon, gray, blue and white for most. And then your orange ones...
At any rate, beautiful!
Thank you, scarf1...I think you are right!

Lovely collection! I, too, love H blues [ESP turquoise!!!].
Aw, thanks, Bostonjetset. Turquoise just slays me!

Momasaurus...clam rolls and coffee cones were heaven to a midwestern family deprived of such delights most of the year! The twin scarves are Hippopolis and the other is Pavois. And thanks for the compliment!
