Perfection Pirula...I still kick myself for not getting that scarf recently!! Plus, inspired by you, bunnycat, froufrou and others I finally ordered a mors ring and then swiftly sent it back. I loved it, but I just struggled with it too much and didn't see myself using it often enough, but seeing your photo...hmmmm:smile1:

I like it most with 70cms and twillies, and all over pattern with contest hem seems to work best so your Rendezvous is just perfect.
Mors and 90cm can look very sophisticated and eye catching and it's a great look for more formal events IMO




Bova I'm sure you would have used it , do reconsider !
I find it one of those things that some days feels and looks wrong, others days just the perfect touch and giving your scarves a whole new look and scope.
Mine is permabrass which gives a slightly different vibe and may work better with your jewel toned collection………..

Yes frou frou it is fun, and I am a little less intimidated by it now. No twillies yet, will keep them in mind, especially for summer. Want to play with mors ring and gavroches, but not sure how to start. Maybe I should start a mors ring how to/mod pic thread?

I had my colors done about 25 years ago by a woman called Suzanne Caygill. She supposedly originated the concept when she worked in Hollywood in the 30's. I did some research on her afterwards and apparently that information was correct. She held classes for 20 or so in her East Side apartment on Saturdays. I think she also did individual consults.
I was doing Feldenkrais at the time, and my practitioner recommended her, so I and my friend signed up for a class, $350 I recall which was fairly pricey then.

Anyway, it was wonderful and I learned a lot. I still have her chart. I was told to never wear white or black only creamy white and navy. My best color was apple green and peach. I am a warm spring.

The two most flattering scarves I've owned are Tsubas in peach/cream (lost unfortunatley) and Luna Park in green/cream. Aux Portes in a periwinkle type shade looks great too.

Somehow when I buy scarves, my eye always goes to blues, and some blues are not best for me. Live and learn. Anyway, I'm going to sort out my scarves later.

Meanwhile my scarf of the day is ...........Jardins de Nouvelle Angleterre. .

This past 12 months, I've hit the accelerator on my infant of a collection, born in the late 90s and so, my baby has grown into toddlerhood. When I see it laid out, none of it makes much sense to me colorwise. I buy the patterns I love. But I am particularly drawn to blues and especially turquoise. Or orange! Was is all the visits to HoJo's for a clam roll and coffee cone in my youth????

Confessions is such a whimsical fun design and I adore it in red.
I think I prefer wearing Hermès designs that have a less formal design, and although I love the awesomely beautiful designs this season I know they will stay in their boxes .This is one to wear and celebrate! You've got me thinking hard.
the SA I spoke to recently said it was her favourite this season .

Rainy Friday , a good reason to get out a shot of orange with the Mors .
Believe it or not this Twilly gets more positive comments from strangers out and about in London than the rest of my collection put together .
And it cost nothing.
Very dressed down , no makeup, my favourite way to be.
