Thank you for taking the time to post these links honeylocksScarf tying and knotting: for me the best part of scarves.

Stunning color on you jp_536, your "uniform" works so well for you!!Funny you should say this sparkle...about what colors we love vs what colors look best on us. Which those can be very different. Lol.. As it is for me... I love orange! But it doesn't always work great for me. And I know whenever I wear red, I always get compliments. I guess it complements my skin tone. But I don't typically buy red scarves!! Hahaha!! Never drawn to them. And surprisingly last week when I was at the boutique, I thought I would break out of the norm and actually go for a red Confessions!! I wanted the turquoise and the lavender cws, but the lavender didn't wow me as I thought it would. I would've bought both the turquoise and the red but I was being good. Kept it to just one cw that day. Lol
. Can't say it'll be one cw by the end of the season. But for now. Lol
. And here she is: (Very tonal today. My thing. Lol. My uniform.) I know, a white shirt wouldn't made the scarf pop but I wasn't about drawing too much attention to the scarf today.

My collection is much smaller than most of you lovely scarfies and it is pretty much all over the place as far as the primary color of each piece goes. As such, I was going to sit this week out. However, I figured even a small contribution would be fun and I discovered that one color that pops up in several of my scarves is yellow...at least as an accent color. Here are a few of my collection featuring yellow.
Ohhhh, love your collection, yes indeed. Very masculine and elegant. Super H is so on my radar, but thinking of putting it on Christmas wish list for The Boy because what 15 year old would not think Super H is the coolest thing everrrrr for Mom?
Love the yellows and again, with rare exception, must enjoy vicariously. May I ask what the scarf, second from left, with what appear to horse heads is?
Thank you my dear Pirula!
I do think Super H would be a very special gift from your son; it's such a fun scarf. And if your 15 y/o does not want/have to spend on the 70, it is in gavroche this year!! [Croisette has the gavroche in the same c/w as my 70 shown here and there are loads of other fun colors available!].
The horse head scarf is called Panache et Fantaisie. It is a Grygkar pattern from 1959 and I don't think [but not sure] that it has ever been re-released. This one was actually a "rescue" scarf from the Bay. I got it for a steal because it is 56 years old and has some slight stains from being folded so long. I thought, since it was not very expensive, it would make a good throw around scarf when I want a bit of H but don't want to worry about weather and such. It actually still has the Lord & Taylor label on it as well; they used to sell H way back in the 50s! [long gone are those days! haha]
Greenhoddess, have you seen JRTgal's creative, self-made hanging/display for her H scarves?? It would be perfect for The Bono Scarf and save a fortune.
Oh how very cool! 56 years; incroyable.
And I totally see your point on "easy" H scarves. Haha! We went out for Pho tonight; yum yumm. But Oiseaux was removed for the eating duration.
You look marvelous in red, my dear!Funny you should say this sparkle...about what colors we love vs what colors look best on us. Which those can be very different. Lol.. As it is for me...
