In honor of color week, wearing my new to me H Comme Hermes out to see the Tall Ship arriving in my area this afternoon! A bit of a departure for me both in color and design, but I think I am going to love it!!

CanuckBL Yes, I knew I was partial but getting them all out and arranging into colour families made me see how few other colours I own .

I now see the blues I choose need to have splashes of yellow, orange or red .

This is so neat, frou frou your colors are exactly opposite of mine. I love them all.

Good evening silky friends. Here's my attempt at a Roy G. Biv spectrum configuration. Same group of scarves, opposite angles for better viewing. [emoji1]

Fabulous patterns you have! Which Année is that, year of the sheep/goat? I wish I could find a dog if they made it [my year] but I never see anything other than the rabbit on the Bay. When did they stop these? Were they exclusive to Chinese-speaking countries or available globally?

Love this scarf1. My DH just bought the green CW for me for my birthday! I am thrilled!!! I remember wanting it won it came out. But, was out of funds. Can you tell me which season this scarf is from?! My forum search isn't working properly;(.

Bostonjetset, it's a dragon. Both my son and I are dragons so I just had to have it. I won it on eBay, and it came from Tokyo. Marietouchet kindly authenticated it. I know no more than that. I'm in DC.

I seem to recall a poster here, from Boston in fact, saying that his wife got him a Chinese New Year scarf each year. From that, even if it wasn't Boston, I surmise they're available globally.

Which scarf is the purple on at the end? Love it. I can't usually wear red but with that much purple I might get away with it I'd love to see more pictures if it isn't already put away

Good Morning Silkies,

This week's theme is about COLOR! What color are you? As a member of this thread for 4 years, I know that frou frou and I share a deep ruby/rouge h, Chestnutty is a BLUE lover, calexandre does green better than a leprechaun, moma wears grey gorgeously Israelia Flava and jp rock PINK---but are these colors that we love AND look the best on us? Or might there be a color out there that would make us GLOW but we haven't discovered the illuminating silk just yet?? Who knows the mysteries that are embedded in the fibers of these squares of obsession?

There are many cites to help us ponder the ideas of about cool/warm and neutral skins, eye color, hair color and what colors complement us so I thought I would share one with you if you have not thought deeply about this rather shallow life concern of ours. (Don't hate me for saying this:giggles

Funny you should say this sparkle...about what colors we love vs what colors look best on us. Which those can be very different. Lol. . As it is for me... I love orange! But it doesn't always work great for me. And I know whenever I wear red, I always get compliments. I guess it complements my skin tone. But I don't typically buy red scarves!! Hahaha!! Never drawn to them. And surprisingly last week when I was at the boutique, I thought I would break out of the norm and actually go for a red Confessions!! I wanted the turquoise and the lavender cws, but the lavender didn't wow me as I thought it would. I would've bought both the turquoise and the red but I was being good. Kept it to just one cw that day. Lol . Can't say it'll be one cw by the end of the season. But for now. Lol . And here she is: (Very tonal today. My thing. Lol. My uniform.) I know, a white shirt wouldn't made the scarf pop but I wasn't about drawing too much attention to the scarf today.
