The outfit I had set out for today happens to be "my colors"- blue purple green. This is the best I could do capturing it in the morning sunshine. I tried to get my hair and skin color. The photo is probably a touch warmer than IRL. The scarf is au ciel de la mer blue, vert, mauve.View attachment 3070638
Looks great on you.
I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's color choices! Beautiful collections and so many fabulous scarves!

A long time ago, I got the color test done a couple of times and came out winter one time and summer another...so who knows!!! Looking at my veins I have both greenish shades and bluish ones so I think I must just be confused (no surprise there).

I think the best scarves overall on me are my Cosmos, Super H, and Tour De Cles twilly but I don't really think any of them look horrible on me. I can always pair them with something I am wearing to make it all work at least ok.

Here's my little collection and if you go left to right, the two rows on the left are the ones I think look best on me, progressing over to the right to things that I don't think look as good, but nothing looks horrible. I'd say my biggest "mistake" was the black and white Ex Libris. I wear SOOO MUUUCH BLAAACCCKKKK I should have asked for the pink... I need to try this one as a contrast against a bright shirt.

You can see though, that the a lot of the scarves in the "ok, but not fabulous on me" section have a medium blue that I think washes me out a little.

Oops- I just saw I forgot to take Miss Brazil out of her twilly tube...At least she's in the right section on the left...

Beautiful collection.

Here is my collection. I have too many shawls and scarves to keep them in boxes. These pictures were taken last month when I was going through them, counting and straightening them out. I am usually drawn to bright colors red, orange and pink in scarves and blue, black and pink in shawls.

Beautiful collections !
Meg I know we are twins on a few- love the rich tones in your collection!

What a nice theme! :) Interesting to read about how others are dealing with this. I'm clearly a warm person (red hair, yellow skin tone) and think orange brings out my own colors, warm pinks are also my go to colors, but I do wear more cold tones like pink and purple once in awhile too! Even blue sometimes. (I might have posted some of the pics in another thread before, sorry about that. And some of them are shawls.. ;))

This is a great theme and your pictures are beautiful!
Love the different ways you wear the scarves

This week's exercise has made me realize I probably have enough Blue scarves, at least in the 90 format!:roflmfao:

Attached pic is the non-blue to aqua scarves… Several have some blue in them, but the main color is NOT Blue!

This was a fun exercise, although it was hassle putting everything back…

Loving seeing everyone's collections!

Thank you. I am always drawn to color. This season I have been drawn to the more neutral cw's.
Wow, Meg! That's quite a collection!

Great collection. That has been my problem. I am always drawn to the same cw's.

Beautiful colleCtion bunnycat.

Funny thing is, one of my favorites on you has been your blue Madame et Monsieur gavroche. I think you look absolutely lovely in it.

Beautiful harmony between you and the cw of the HS. Actually your colors are my own except I love a deep warm aubergine maybe second to sea green. Got my colors done about 15 years ago and as soon as the color consultant laid eyes on me wearing my fav sea green outfit she said I looked dead. But by the end of the consultation, she draped me in a similar sea green color and pronounced it one of my better colors. Consequently, I never paid attention to the colors she recommended and just bought what I liked. Which lately include citron (vivid yellow with a very slight green undertone), blush, a pale pale pink, and very light green like the color of green amethyst. My hair is lite brown but has a strong red undertone, green eyes, and fair skin.
