I came out half-and-half in the quiz! :D
On second thoughts, that's probably an accurate reflection of my scarf collection, half cool blues and half warm oranges.
I am like you and sort of half and half. I can wear most colors and have most colors in my collection of scarves and shawls.
What a nice theme! :) Interesting to read about how others are dealing with this. I'm clearly a warm person (red hair, yellow skin tone) and think orange brings out my own colors, warm pinks are also my go to colors, but I do wear more cold tones like pink and purple once in awhile too! Even blue sometimes. (I might have posted some of the pics in another thread before, sorry about that. And some of them are shawls.. ;))

Love every picture. You do look great in orange.

This is great! I love all the beautiful scarves!!!

I have dark brown hair (with a bit of red at the moment), dark brown eyes, olive skin. So I did the test and the answer to every question was warm. However, I love cool tones, such as blue, green, red, and I think those colors actually look good on me (I hope I'm not delusional :-)). I do like warm tones, but I really have to be careful with certain shades of yellow and orange. I think I fall into criteria of bright/saturated colors vs pale, if there is such. The moment I put on a pale pink, pale yellow, light blue, or yellowish-orange (vs. burnt orange or orange with coral undertones), my face immediately looks grey, completely washes me out.

This is my little collection. I think they all look good on me, with an exception of Jardin de Leila, not sure about that one, but my daughter's name is Layla, so I couldn't pass on it. If I don't wear it, I'll pass it on to her.

Thanks for letting me share.

That is exactly me too. I love bright colors so I guess that is a good thing. I love your scarves. They are all so vibrant and that is almost always what I am attracted to.

I tend to lean toward purples and oranges, but I'll wear anything with pop. I'll even wear the summery colors in the winter.
That is so me. Orange is my favorite color. I love summer colors in the winter. It makes me happy to see bright beautiful colors on a gray day.
I shall be sorting through my scarf colours later for some photos to share.

There are some scarves that attract me a lot , and after much hunting land through the letterbox only to pull a very nasty surprise : they drain the daylights out of me, and my palish warm toned skin looks positively greyish-green :throw up:

My return to H addiction came after reading various blogs, and one scarf in particular held me in thrall after reading Scarf Addict's blog , Carnaval de Venise in primary colours .
When it arrived I couldn't believe how bad I looked LOL, but I soldiered on for a couple of years determined to wear it until I let it go quite recently.
It did look halfway decent when worn with an eau de nil silk shirt . Lesson learnt , wear these colours in small amounts but dilute with more colour and never wear with black or white

The other scarf that really hated me was Passiflores an old design I've always adored , and although flowery designs don't normally interest me , this colour combo sold it. My colours ….orange, blue and lime green ,it was going to become my signature !
When it arrived I was struck by the sheer beauty of it , design and colours out of this world gorgeous .
But the long awaited Passifores blended so seamlessly with my skin ,hair and eyes it was difficult to see where scarf ended and I began.
It came out for photos and was dispatched to a new owner within days !

So : no pale warm colours, and no bright primary ones either.
Having colours done has no appeal for me , I prefer the road test route !

Meet my bad boys : Carnaval de Venise and Passiflores
Both of these are so beautiful.

The outfit I had set out for today happens to be "my colors"- blue purple green. This is the best I could do capturing it in the morning sunshine. I tried to get my hair and skin color. The photo is probably a touch warmer than IRL. The scarf is au ciel de la mer blue, vert, mauve.ImageUploadedByPurseForum1437401422.462182.jpg

Interesting! Although my overall scarf collection has a different focus than yours, love some of the scarves in the first pic, particularly the light blue on upper right! your Les cles maxi is same colors as my recent maxi twilly- in fact I tried that on, but I ended up with the other design which I already forgot the name of...
Also, I tried on your Sieste au Paradis - that is a contender, just waiting to see the other CWs IRL.

I really don't have any neutral scarves, probably because I tend to wear a lot of boring neutral clothes particularly in the cooler months, and I love to have a pop of color...

Scarf1, I found myself drooling over your collection. You have several that I considered and I am reconsidering: the mousseline dans un jardin anglais, the pink jardin anglais and the blue coeur de la vie. I love your greens and blue-greens as well. Because I was obsessed with matching my gold birkin I don't have as many pure blues and greens without the warm tones. I'm going to have to work on that!

Although I have been fairly successful at buying scarves online, I do prefer to be able to try them on. I am often surprised by which one looks best on me in the store, and I have been willing to try some scarves on that are winners even though I would be afraid to select otherwise!

I've told you many times how much I love this GMS, Equateur:
